Devra Box Office: Record-Breaking Opening and Strong Weekend Performance
Junior NTR’s film “Devra” has demonstrated strong earnings, showing no signs of slowing down. The film achieved a record-breaking opening on its first day at the box office. Following this, its initial three-day weekend collections were equally impressive. While there was an expectation that the film might face a drop after Monday, “Devra” registered strong worldwide earnings on its fourth day. The film, with a budget of 200 crore, was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Public support for the film has been evident across all languages, with many viewers reportedly watching it multiple times.
The film’s collection on the second day was robust, and on the third day, Sunday, it saw an even greater surge in earnings. On the fourth day, Monday, a drop in collections was noted due to lower ticket rates and the start of working days, a common trend for films. However, “Devra” maintained a good hold on its fourth day, suggesting it has the potential for a long run. The film’s collections are anticipated to increase further in the coming days, especially with the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on October 2nd. Within just four days, the film has already earned significantly more than its budget. “Devra” has achieved a “superhit” tag in the Hindi market and a “blockbuster” status in overseas markets. Additionally, it has reached break-even in Kerala and recorded substantial earnings in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. In the Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, “Devra” has broken the records of several major Pan-India films.

The Hindi gross collection for “Devra” over four days is 40 crore 75 lakh, surpassing the ₹40 crore mark in the Hindi market. The film has already been declared a “superhit” in Hindi.
Devra Worldwide Box Office Collection
Considering its collections across all five languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada), “Devra” had already achieved a spectacular worldwide earning of 243 crore within two days. This made it the highest-earning movie in Junior NTR’s career within two days, excluding “RRR,” as no previous film of his had earned more than ₹200 crore in his career before “Devra.” On its third day, “Devra” recorded a worldwide box office collection of 82 crore from all five languages. For its fourth day, similar to the Hindi market, the film experienced a significant drop in its Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada language collections. The estimated worldwide collection for “Devra” on its fourth day is approximately 25 crore. Consequently, “Devra” has achieved a total worldwide box office collection of 350 crore within its initial four days, successfully crossing the ₹350 crore mark globally.
Future Box Office Outlook
“Devra” is expected to make strong earnings again on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. With no new Bollywood films releasing in the coming days, the Hindi version of “Devra” has an open two-week window for collections. During this period, the film might achieve a 100 crore collection in the Hindi market alone. Globally, across all five languages, the film could potentially earn around 600-700 crore.
