Chhaava Dominates Worldwide Box Office in Second Week
The film Chhaava has broken all box office records, currently ruling the worldwide box office. While in its second week in cinemas, the film continues to make sensational earnings at the box office. It is anticipated that this film’s lifetime collection will cross the 1000 crore mark. Despite the second week seeing a reduction in screen count compared to the first Friday, the film’s collections on fewer screens have been surprising. Earlier, it was predicted that the film would earn more than 500 crore worldwide, but now it is expected to gross more than 500 crore in India alone, with worldwide earnings likely to be much higher.
Chhaava’s Record-Breaking Box Office Achievements
Chhaava has emerged as the biggest blockbuster film of 2025, becoming the highest-earning Indian film of the year. It crossed the lifetime box office collection of all Bollywood films in its first week. Within nine days, the film also surpassed the lifetime box office collection of all South Indian films released this year. It achieved this by crossing the record held by the Telugu film Sankranti Vastuvu Nam, which earned approximately 750 crore worldwide, in just nine days, despite Chhaava being released only in Hindi. The film is making strong earnings in South India even with its Hindi version, a level of collection not typically seen for big Bollywood superstars’ films. Chhaava has made historical worldwide earnings solely in Hindi. The film is expected to cross the 400 crore worldwide mark on its 10th day. Its final box office collection is projected to potentially reach 700-800 crore or even surpass 1000 crore.
