Shaitaan Box Office: A Second Week Phenomenon
Superstar Ajay Devgn’s film Shaitaan continues to achieve spectacular earnings at the box office day by day in its second week. This horror-drama, directed by Vikas Bahl and starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyothika, was made on a budget of ₹60 crore. Shaitaan is standing strong at the box office in its second week, with its daily collections described as quite spectacular. This level of collection in the second week was not achieved by many big Bollywood films even in their first week this year. The film is poised to become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and in Ajay Devgn’s career. Within 12 days, Shaitaan has already earned nearly three times its budget worldwide.

Yodha Box Office Performance So Far
The action-packed film Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna, has completed five days in cinemas. Made on a budget of ₹60 crore, expectations were high for the film to generate tremendous earnings. However, Yodha did not receive a big opening, nor were its weekend collections significantly better. A positive trend is that the film has maintained a good hold at the box office during weekdays, with collections remaining decent. This suggests that the film might easily recover its budget in the coming days.
Yodha Five-Day Worldwide Collections
Yodha’s initial three-day weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) India Net Collection was ₹17 crore 51 lakh. On its fourth day, the first Monday, the film collected ₹2 crore 47 lakh India Net. For its fifth day, Yodha’s occupancy dropped by 7-8% compared to the previous day, and bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows were also slightly slower. Based on current reports, Yodha is estimated to collect ₹2 crore 30 lakh India Net on its fifth day. This brings Yodha’s five-day India Net Collection to ₹22 crore 28 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹26 crore 55 lakh. In the overseas market, the film has earned ₹5 crore 32 lakh. Therefore, Yodha’s five-day Worldwide Box Office Collection stands at ₹31 crore 87 lakh. The film’s budget is ₹60 crore, and it has collected ₹31 crore 87 lakh so far. Hopes are that the film will at least recover its budget worldwide in the future.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Buzz and Opening Expectations
This year’s major Bollywood film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is scheduled for an Eid release. With approximately 25 days left until its theatrical debut, the film’s buzz is rapidly escalating. It is anticipated that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan could achieve a ₹50 crore opening at the box office. Should the film’s trailer prove impactful and the movie itself be entertaining, it is expected to secure a “100% blockbuster” tag.
Kalki: Release Date Postponement and Future Plans
Kalki, one of the most expensive films of the year with a budget of approximately ₹500 to ₹600 crore, stars Pan India Superstar Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Initially announced for a May 12th release, it has now been 100% confirmed that Kalki will not release on May 12th, and its release date has been postponed. The reason for this postponement is due to upcoming elections in the film’s main market, the Telugu states, around the original release window. According to reports from Telugu media, Kalki’s makers are soon to hold a meeting with the makers of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 to decide the new official release date. There were previous rumors about Pushpa 2’s release date possibly shifting from August 15th. Kalki’s makers will confirm if Pushpa 2 moves, potentially allowing Kalki to release on August 15th. If Pushpa 2 maintains its August 15th date, Kalki might target a June release. This strategy aims to ensure that a major film releases roughly every month, preventing box office collections from being negatively impacted by simultaneous releases. The makers of Kalki are expected to announce the official release date soon.
