Tumbbad Re-Release Box Office Performance

The Bollywood horror movie Tumbbad, featuring Soham Shah and made on a budget of 15 crore, did not perform notably when first released in 2018. However, after being re-released this week, six years later, the film achieved significant earnings in its first week. Its re-release collection in the first week surpassed its lifetime earnings from the initial 2018 release.

In its re-release, Tumbbad recorded an India net collection of 10 crore 69 lakh in the first five days. On the sixth day, the film earned 1 crore 52 lakh, and on its seventh day, it earned 1 crore 45 lakh. This brings Tumbbad’s total India net collection for the initial seven days of its re-release to 13 crore 66 lakh. The India gross collection stands at 16 crore 25 lakh. When it was initially released in 2018, the film’s total collection was 17 crore 30 lakh. Combining its 2018 and current re-release collections, Tumbbad has achieved a total earning of 31 crore 55 lakh, marking it as a box office Superhit.

Stree 2 Box Office Collections: A Blockbuster Run

The horror-comedy film Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi, has already become the highest-earning Hindi film in Indian cinema. The film’s collections continue to grow daily, suggesting it will maintain strong earnings in cinemas for another week.

Stree 2 recorded an India net collection of 558 crore 6 lakh within its first 34 days. On its 35th day, the film earned 2 crore 21 lakh, and on its 36th day, it is earning approximately 2 crore. With these figures, Stree 2’s all-India net collection for the initial 36 days has reached 590 crore 2 lakh. The India gross collection stands at 696 crore 45 lakh. The film’s total worldwide box office collection has reached 833 crore 7 lakh. Stree 2 is expected to soon cross the 600 crore mark in India net collection and comfortably reach 850 crore in the worldwide market. With a budget of only 80 crore, the movie has earned more than 10 times its budget, securing its status as a Super Blockbuster.

Devara Overseas Advance Booking Report

The pan-India film Devara, directed by Siva Koratala and starring Junior NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, is set to release on September 27th in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film’s overseas market advance bookings began earlier and have received a record-breaking response.

Devara’s first-day overseas advance booking collected 1.33 million dollars, which translates to 11 crore 14 lakh rupees. For the weekend, the overseas advance booking reached 2.65 million dollars, amounting to 22 crore 17 lakh in Indian currency. Devara has shown a better performance in overseas advance booking collections compared to Prabhas’ Kalki. The film is confirmed to have an opening collection of more than 100 crore.

The GOAT Box Office: 15-Day Worldwide Collections

Thalapathy Vijay’s film The GOAT (The Greatest Of All Time), an action-drama thriller directed by Venkat Prabhu, was released worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film has completed 15 days in cinemas, showing strong earnings in India and recording breakthrough collections overseas. The first week’s collections were significant, but in the second week, due to the release of many new films in different languages, its screen count decreased. On its 15th day, The GOAT is earning approximately 4 crore 25 lakh in the worldwide market. The film is expected to enter the 450 crore club in the coming days.
