Kantara Chapter One: Record-Breaking Box Office Performance

The Pan India film Kantara Chapter One continues its strong box office run, breaking collection records daily. This film has surpassed the lifetime collections of 90% of Bollywood films released in 2025 within just five days. With a budget of only ₹125 crore, Kantara Chapter One has already earned more than three times its budget worldwide, achieving blockbuster status.

Released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film received strong audience support in every language, leading to record-breaking earnings. Its first day collection was a blockbuster, and the first weekend earnings were also remarkable. While many Indian films struggle on Mondays, Kantara Chapter One maintained a strong hold at the box office on its first Monday. The fifth-day occupancy suggests that if the film continues this trend for another one to two weeks, it could become the only film of 2025 to earn ₹1000 crore at the box office. Kantara Chapter One is already a super-duper hit, with projections indicating its lifetime collection could easily reach ₹700 crore.
