Shaitaan Box Office Performance
Superstar Ajay Devgan’s film Shaitaan has continued its strong run at the box office. The film secured a massive opening on its first day, followed by tremendous collections on the second day. The third day’s earnings for Shaitaan surpassed the collections of both the first and second days. Within three days, the film has already earned more than its budget, leading to expectations that it will become a significant blockbuster.
Shaitaan Day-Wise India Net Collections
Shaitaan registered an All India Net Collection of ₹15 crore 21 lakh on its first day. For the second day, the film surprised expectations by achieving an India Net Collection of ₹19 crore 50 lakh. On its third day, reports indicate that Shaitaan is collecting an India Net Collection of ₹23 crore 50 lakh. This strong performance has resulted in an initial three-day India Net Collection of ₹58 crore 21 lakh for the film.
Shaitaan Worldwide Box Office and Future Projections
The film’s India Gross Collection for the first three days stands at ₹69 crore 38 lakh. In the overseas market, Shaitaan has also received a strong response, collecting a gross of ₹11 crore 60 lakh within three days. This brings Shaitaan’s initial three-day World Wide Collection to approximately ₹81 crore, exceeding initial expectations of ₹60-65 crore. With a budget of ₹60 crore, the film has earned significantly more than its cost in just three days. It is anticipated to cross the ₹100 crore mark in the coming two to three days, with further projections speculating if it will reach ₹250 crore or even surpass ₹300 crore. Notably, Shaitaan took the biggest opening for a horror genre film and received the second biggest opening of 2023. Collections for the film remained strong on the second and third days, with the third day’s collections being better than the first two days. On the third day, screen count for Shaitaan was increased in many locations, with additional late-night shows added in Mumbai. The film recorded a strong response in morning shows, and evening, afternoon, and night show bookings have been solid, with many cinemas in Maharashtra reportedly housefull on the third day.

Bhima Box Office Performance and Three-Day Collections
The South Indian film Bhima, produced with a budget of ₹40 crore, saw a decent opening on its first day. However, the film experienced a significant drop in collections on both its second and third days, with weekend collections decreasing instead of increasing. Bhima’s first-day India Net Collection was ₹3 crore 85 lakh. On the second day, it earned ₹3 crore 12 lakh, and for the third day, the film is reportedly collecting an India Net Collection of ₹3 crore 20 lakh. The initial three-day India Net Collection for Bhima totals ₹10 crore 47 lakh. Its India Gross Collection is ₹12 crore 50 lakh, and the worldwide collection stands at ₹15 crore 30 lakh. With a budget of ₹40 crore, the film’s three-day collection of slightly over ₹15 crore raises questions about whether its final collection will match its budget.
