Kalki 2898 AD Box Office: Day 2 Collection Worldwide, Prabhas Performance, and Movie Review

Kalki Box Office Storm: Record-Breaking Performance Continues

Superstar Prabhas’ film Kalki continues its phenomenal box office run. The film achieved the biggest opening at the box office on its first day. While there was a slight drop in collections on the second day, the film’s earnings on the third day significantly surpassed those of the second day. Kalki has proven that a good film earns audience support and sets new box office records worldwide, irrespective of its promotion efforts. Within three days, Kalki has earned the tag of the year’s biggest blockbuster film, not just in Hindi but across other South Indian languages as well.

Kalki Hindi Box Office Collections: A Detailed Overview

Kalki was released in the Hindi market on approximately 3500 screens. Despite a lack of promotion for the Hindi market, the film delivered a fantastic opening. On its first day, Kalki’s all-India net collection from Hindi stood at ₹2 crore 50 lakh. The film maintained a strong hold on its second day in the Hindi market, with an all-India net collection of ₹2 crore 45 lakh, performing almost as well as the first day.

The third day, being a Saturday and a half-holiday, saw Kalki’s earnings in the Hindi market surpass both its first and second-day collections. Morning shows on the third day registered better occupancy than the first day, and afternoon, evening, and night show bookings were also reported as excellent. According to reports, Kalki is collecting an all-India Hindi net collection of ₹26 crore 50 lakh on its third day. This brings the film’s total three-day all-India Hindi net collection to ₹70 crore 45 lakh. The three-day Hindi gross collection has reached ₹85 crore, matching the amount for which the Hindi distribution rights of the film were sold. The film is expected to achieve record-breaking collections in the Hindi market on Sunday, potentially exceeding its earnings from the first, second, and third days.

South Indian Language Box Office Performance

Kalki has received strong audience support and impressive collections in South Indian languages. The film is performing exceptionally well in its original language, Telugu, across the Telugu-speaking states. In Karnataka, Kalki has broken all records set by local Kannada films this year. Tamil Nadu saw a better response on the second day compared to the first, and collections in Kerala are gradually increasing.

In its initial two days, Kalki recorded a gross collection of ₹127 crore 10 lakh from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (Telugu-speaking states). Over the same period, the film collected ₹22 crore 70 lakh from Karnataka and ₹10 crore 53 lakh from Tamil Nadu. In Kerala, the two-day collection stood at ₹3 crore 32 lakh. On the third day, the film experienced significant growth in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and other South Indian languages. Morning shows in Telugu states performed better than on the first and second days. Occupancy on the third day in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala was also considerably better than the second day.

Kalki All India Gross Collections Across Languages

The North India region, which includes Hindi language release and some areas with original Telugu release with English subtitles, contributed ₹54 crore 70 lakh in gross collections across both Hindi and Telugu languages within two days. Kalki’s initial two-day all-India gross collection across all five languages reached ₹224 crore 35 lakh. On its third day, the film achieved an all-India gross collection of ₹110 crore. This brings Kalki’s total three-day all-India gross collection across all five languages to ₹334 crore 35 lakh.

Global Domination: Kalki Overseas and Worldwide Box Office

Kalki has made a significant impact in the overseas market, surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone. The film has accumulated ₹118 crore from overseas markets (outside India) to date. Combining these figures, Kalki’s three-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹452 crore. This means the film has earned more than ₹450 crore globally in just three days.

The film’s budget is stated as ₹50 crore. If current trends continue, Kalki is projected to achieve a worldwide gross collection of approximately ₹600 crore by the end of its fourth day (Sunday). Looking ahead, if the film maintains a strong hold at the box office on Monday, its lifetime worldwide collection could potentially reach the range of ₹1200 crore to ₹1500 crore. Even if collections experience a drop on Monday, it is confirmed that Kalki’s worldwide box office collection will reach ₹1000 crore.
