Natural Star Nani’s film, Surya Saturday, has completed two weeks in cinemas and achieved a “superhit” tag at the box office. This marks Nani’s third consecutive superhit film. While the Hindi dubbed version was a disaster, the film delivered splendid collections in its Telugu version and decent earnings from Tamil Nadu.
Surya Saturday’s India net collection for its first week was ₹51 crore 30 lakh, followed by ₹14 crore 82 lakh in its second week. On its 15th day, the film is earning an estimated ₹1 crore 20 lakh. This brings the initial 15-day all India net collection to ₹67 crore 32 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹80 crore 11 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Surya Saturday has reached ₹107 crore 55 lakh.
Devara Overseas Advance Booking Report
The upcoming pan-India film Devara, starring Junior NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, is set for release on September 27. The film’s overseas advance bookings began a week prior to the main booking phase and have received a splendid response.
Devara’s first-day advance booking from North America stands at $1.30 million, which translates to ₹10 crore 74 lakh. The weekend advance booking in the overseas market has reached $1.56 million, equating to ₹13 crore 10 lakh. With approximately 15 days remaining until release, the film has already garnered over ₹13 crore in overseas advance bookings.
Stree 2 Box Office Dominance
The horror-comedy film Stree 2, released on August 15, has completed 29 days in cinemas. Despite nearing its one-month mark, the film’s earnings continue to improve daily. Its 28th-day collections surpassed expectations.
Stree 2 recorded an all India net collection of ₹558 crore 24 lakh within its initial 27 days. The film earned ₹3 crore 16 lakh on its 28th day, exceeding the predicted ₹2 crore 90 lakh. On its 29th day, Stree 2 is estimated to collect an all India net of ₹3 crore 10 lakh. This brings the initial 29-day all India net collection to ₹564 crore 50 lakh, and the India gross collection to ₹666 crore 10 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has collected ₹135 crore 41 lakh. Consequently, Stree 2’s 29-day worldwide total box office collection stands at ₹801 crore 22 lakh, surpassing the ₹800 crore mark globally before completing one month. The film’s lifetime collection is projected to reach the ₹850 crore range.
The GOAT Day-Wise Worldwide Collections
Thalapathy Vijay’s pan-India film The GOAT (The Greatest Of All Time), released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, achieved a record-breaking worldwide collection on its opening day. The film saw a strong performance during its initial four-day weekend. However, collections significantly dropped during weekdays following the weekend. An increase in collections is anticipated over the upcoming weekend. The film’s final earnings are expected to be in the ₹500 crore range.
In the Hindi market, where The GOAT was released on 1000 screens, it accumulated a Hindi gross collection of ₹18 crore 55 lakh in its first six days. On the seventh day, it earned ₹1 crore 28 lakh. The eighth-day Hindi gross collection is estimated at ₹1 crore 20 lakh, bringing the initial eight-day Hindi gross collection to ₹21 crore 3 lakh. The film is expected to cross the ₹20 crore mark in the Hindi market on the next day.
