The film sold more than 5 crore tickets, setting a record for the highest number of tickets sold to date.

The total budget for Gadar 2 is only 60 crore rupees. The film’s director, Anil Sharma, personally stated in an interview that the budget for Gadar 2 was set at just 60 crore rupees. The film had already earned double its budget before its theatrical release. Its digital rights (OTT rights) were valued at 65 crore rupees, while its satellite rights (TV broadcast rights) were valued at 40 crore rupees. Additionally, the music rights for the film’s songs were valued at 15 crore rupees. This brings the total value of the film’s digital, satellite, and music rights to approximately 130 crore rupees. This means the filmmakers had already secured a profit of 70 crore rupees before the film’s release.

Gadar 2 achieved an advance booking collection of 23 crore rupees across India for its first day. It is notable that Gadar 2 tickets were priced at normal rates, unlike other big Bollywood films released this year, which had higher ticket prices. Despite the normal ticket rates, the film made an impressive 23 crore rupees in advance bookings. Based on the tremendous response in advance bookings, Gadar 2 is estimated to achieve an India net collection of approximately 38 crore rupees on its first day. The India gross collection is estimated to be 45 crore rupees, with an additional 5 crore rupees expected from the overseas market. This totals an estimated worldwide first-day collection of approximately 50 crore rupees. Predictions suggest Gadar 2 could earn even more than 50 crore rupees worldwide on its first day.
