Suriya’s action-thriller Retro, originally a Tamil film also dubbed in Telugu and Hindi, was made on a budget of ₹70 crore. The film delivered a record-breaking performance at the box office, with exceptional collections in India and strong overseas earnings.
On its first day, Retro recorded an India net collection of ₹21.25 crore.
