Mirai’s Continued Box Office Success
The action-adventure fantasy thriller Mirai, featuring Teja Sajja, Ritika Nayak, Manju Manoj Kumar, Shriya Saran, and Jagapathi Babu, was released last week on September 12, a Friday. The film, originally produced in Telugu, was also released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and other languages. Within just three days of its release, Mirai surpassed its budget, receiving a positive response that led to its first-week collections exceeding ₹100 crore.
Mirai’s Box Office Performance Despite Screen Reduction
In its second week, Mirai experienced a significant reduction in screen count. In the Hindi version, the film was initially released on approximately 1200 to 1300 screens in its first week. Similarly, its screens in Tamil, Telugu, and other South Indian languages were reduced to only 30% to 40% of the first week’s numbers. Despite this reduction, the film continues its strong box office run.
