Superstar Akshay Kumar’s blockbluster film Sky Force has shown rapid growth in its earnings day by day. The film achieved record-breaking collections during its initial three-day weekend. Notably, even on its fourth day, a Monday, the film’s collections remained entirely fantastic. The film’s robust performance has led to expectations that its final collection will be completely blockbuster. Sky Force holds a budget of ₹80 crore.

Sky Force took a धमाकेदार (thundering) opening on its first day, with an India Net Collection of ₹16.30 crore. The second day saw a significant jump in collections, with updated figures reaching ₹26.30 crore. The third day, a Sunday and a holiday (January 26), witnessed record-breaking earnings of ₹31.50 crore, making it double the first day’s collection. On its fourth day, a Monday, Sky Force is reportedly collecting approximately ₹9.5 crore in India Net Collection.
Sky Force Worldwide Earnings Update
After four days, Sky Force’s India Net Collection stands at ₹82.60 crore. Its India Gross Collection has reached ₹98.29 crore. The film has also performed well overseas, accumulating an overseas gross collection of ₹9.23 crore. Cumulatively, Sky Force has achieved a worldwide collection of ₹107.52 crore within its first four days, surpassing ₹100 crore globally.
Azad Box Office Results: A Disaster
Ajay Devgn’s film Azad, a period action drama with a budget of ₹70 crore, is currently in its second week in cinemas and is reported to be almost completely finished at the box office. The film did not receive a big opening, nor did its collections see growth during the first weekend. Its first week ended in single digits. Despite hopes for a big jump in the second weekend, there was no significant increase in earnings. The film’s screens are now diminishing.

Azad’s initial 9-day India Net Collection was ₹8.93 crore. On its 10th day, a Sunday, the film showed a slight growth, collecting ₹85 lakhs. However, on the 11th day, a Monday, the film’s India Net Collection is approximately ₹35 lakhs, with reports of zero occupancy in morning shows at many locations and several show cancellations. Consequently, Azad’s initial 11-day India Net Collection stands at ₹10.13 crore. Its India Gross Collection for 11 days is ₹12.05 crore. The film’s 11-day worldwide box office collection is ₹15.56 crore. Given its budget of ₹70 crore, Azad has been categorized as a complete disaster at the box office.

Kangana Ranaut’s political drama film Emergency, with a budget of ₹60 crore, is also in its second week in cinemas. Although it has fewer screens in its second week, the film has maintained a decent hold at the box office. It recorded decent collections on its second Sunday and managed to hold well on Monday.

The 11-day worldwide box office collection for Emergency is ₹26.93 crore. Compared to its budget of ₹60 crore, the film’s earnings are noted as quite low.
