Akshay Kumar’s film Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz and made on a budget of approximately 120 crore, is currently in its third week in cinemas, completing 18 days. The film continues to perform decently, showing a significant jump in collections on its third Saturday and Sunday.

The film’s worldwide collection has now surpassed the 50 crore mark. Specifically, Khel Khel Mein recorded an India net collection of 30 crore 72 lakh over its initial 16 days. On its 17th day, the third Saturday, the film performed better than expected, earning an India net collection of 1 crore 68 lakh. Reports for the 18th day, Sunday, indicate that morning show occupancy was considerably better than the previous day, with strong bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. Based on these reports, Khel Khel Mein is estimated to be collecting a net of 2 crore on its 18th day.

This brings the film’s total All India Net Collection for the first 18 days to 34 crore 40 lakh. The India Gross Collection stands at 40 crore 93 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has accumulated a total of 9 crore 82 lakh. Consequently, the total worldwide box office collection for Khel Khel Mein over its first 18 days has reached 50 crore 75 lakh.

Suryaputra Shanivaar (Sari Poda Shanivar) Four-Day Box Office Collection

Natural Star Nani’s pan-India film Suryaputra Shanivaar (also referred to as Sari Poda Shanivar), which also features S.J. Surya, was released this week and achieved historic earnings on its first day at the box office. Though primarily a Telugu film, it was released in other South Indian languages and a Hindi dubbed version.

On its release day, the film received very limited screens and shows in the Hindi market, resulting in a negligible first-day Hindi collection. However, due to positive audience reception and good reviews, the number of Hindi screens increased significantly on the second day, further expanding in North India on the third and fourth days. This led to strong earnings from the Hindi market over the first four days, despite no promotional activities for the Hindi version.

In the Hindi market, the film collected 1 crore 95 lakh in its first three days. On its fourth day, Suryaputra Shanivaar is estimated to be earning in the range of 1 crore 50 lakh in Hindi net collection. This brings the total Hindi collection for the first four days to 3 crore 45 lakh.

For all languages, the film’s All India Net Collection for the first two days was 17 crore 82 lakh. On the third day, the film showed a significant jump, with an All India Net Collection of 8 crore 43 lakh. The fourth day has seen a great response in Telugu states, Tamil Nadu, and North India. Morning show occupancy on the fourth day was only slightly less than the first day, with strong bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. Reports indicate Suryaputra Shanivaar is collecting an All India Net Collection of 11 crore 50 lakh on its fourth day across all languages.

The film has earned a total of 18 crore 34 lakh from the overseas market. Overall, the worldwide box office collection for Suryaputra Shanivaar in its initial four days is approximately 363 crore 26 lakh.

The Greatest Of All Time (The G.O.A.T.) Advance Booking Status

Thalapathy Vijay’s film The G.O.A.T., directed by Venkat Prabhu, is set to release on September 5. Even three days prior to its release, the film’s advance booking collections are indicating that it is poised to deliver one of the biggest openings of the year, with a minimum first-day collection expected to exceed 100 crore.

Overseas advance bookings for The G.O.A.T. commenced approximately 10-12 days ago. In India, bookings started two days ago in regions like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, and a couple of other locations, receiving a remarkable response.

For the first day alone, Karnataka’s advance booking stands at 2 crore 36 lakh, while Tamil Nadu’s first-day booking is 3 crore 47 lakh. The All India advance booking for the first day has reached 6 crore 82 lakh. The overseas market has shown even stronger numbers, with first-day overseas advance bookings totaling 15 crore 26 lakh. This makes the total first-day worldwide advance booking collection for The G.O.A.T. 22 crore 88 lakh, surpassing 22 crore globally.

Looking at the weekend advance bookings, the All India figure is 9 crore 58 lakh. Overseas weekend advance bookings amount to 30 crore 61 lakh. Combined, the weekend worldwide advance booking collection for The G.O.A.T. has reached 40 crore 19 lakh, successfully crossing the 40 crore mark.

Stree 2 Achieves Massive Worldwide Box Office Collection

Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2, a horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, starring Pankaj Tripathi and Rajkummar Rao, was made on a budget of 80 crore. Released on August 15, the film recovered its budget within just two days at the box office. Following its successful opening, Stree 2 continued to receive immense public appreciation, leading to record-breaking daily box office collections.

For the 18th day, Sunday, Stree 2 experienced better occupancy than the previous day, with morning shows achieving 50-55% occupancy and strong bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows. Reports suggest that Stree 2 is collecting an All India Net Collection of 21 crore 50 lakh on its 18th day.

This brings the film’s total All India Net Collection for the first 18 days to 501 crore 30 lakh, making Stree 2 another Bollywood film to achieve over 500 crore in net collection in India. The India Gross Collection stands at 591 crore 53 lakh. Additionally, the film has earned a total of 114 crore 50 lakh from overseas markets.

The combined worldwide box office collection for Stree 2 over its 18 days totals 706 crore 3 lakh, exceeding 706 crore globally. Given its 80 crore budget and over 700 crore worldwide earnings, Stree 2 has achieved the status of an All-Time Blockbuster at the box office.
