Prabhas’s film Kalki completely demolished the first-day records of major Bollywood movies like Pathaan, Jawan, and Animal. The film achieved the biggest opening of the year in every language, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with its first-day collections being declared a blockbuster.
Kalki Day 1 Collections Across Languages
Kalki registered an All India Net collection of 118.07 crore on its first day, combining earnings from all five languages. This achievement marks Kalki as a film that surpassed 100 crore in All India Net collections on its opening day. Prabhas has set a record as the first hero in Indian cinema whose films, including Baahubali 2, Salaar, Saaho, and now Kalki, have each achieved over 100 crore in All India collections on their first day. In the Hindi market specifically, Kalki’s first-day All India Net collection was 24.50 crore, making it the biggest opening film of 2024 in Hindi, surpassing Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter.
Kalki Day 2 Box Office Performance and Trends
The film continued its strong box office performance on the second day. While there was a slight drop in second-day collections for South Indian languages, Kalki demonstrated strong earnings in the Hindi market. The occupancy in the Kerala market on Day 2 was better than Day 1. Similarly, Tamil Nadu also reported good occupancy on its second day. Kalki’s second-day India Net collection from the Hindi market is 22.50 crore, showing no significant drop due to positive reviews. The film’s second-day All India Net collection across all five languages is 85 crore.

Kalki’s cumulative Hindi Net collection for the initial two days stands at 47 crore. The Hindi Gross collection for two days is 55.90 crore. The total All India Net collection for Kalki over its first two days is 203.07 crore. The film’s All India Gross collection for the first two days is 242.40 crore. Overseas Gross collection for the initial two days amounts to 92.10 crore. Kalki’s total Worldwide Box Office collection for the first two days is 334.50 crore.
Kalki Box Office Predictions and Long-Term Outlook
Kalki is expected to be a blockbuster across all languages. The film is predicted to reach a Worldwide Box Office collection in the range of 550 to 600 crore within its first four days. A final box office collection exceeding 1000 crore is projected, with potential earnings of 1500 crore or more if the film maintains a strong run for two to three weeks.
In the Hindi market, collections are anticipated to surpass first-day figures over the upcoming Saturday and Sunday, with daily earnings of 30-35 crore expected. Kalki is projected to achieve hit and superhit status in the Hindi market within four days, eventually becoming a blockbuster. A Hindi lifetime box office collection of up to 300 crore is estimated, ensuring the film is a super duper hit in the Hindi market.
Prior to its theatrical release, Kalki had already recovered 880 crore through the sale of its digital, satellite, and music rights. Digital rights for all five languages were sold for 375 crore, satellite rights for 95 crore, and music rights for 25 crore, summing up to 495 crore. Worldwide theatrical rights contributed an additional 385 crore. The film is anticipated to become Prabhas’s biggest blockbuster after Baahubali 2. Comparatively, Prabhas’s previous film, Adipurush, earned approximately 50 crore on its first day despite receiving poor reviews.
