Jailer Records Record-Breaking First-Day Collections
Rajinikanth’s film Jailer achieved record-breaking earnings on its first day at the box office. On its release day, Jailer’s early estimates indicate a gross collection of ₹35 crore from Tamil Nadu. From the Telugu States, including Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film garnered approximately ₹10 crore. Karnataka State contributed ₹15 crore to the gross collection, while Kerala State added approximately ₹5 crore.
The film’s first-day all-India gross collection is estimated to be approximately ₹65 crore. Additionally, Jailer earned roughly ₹25 crore from the overseas market on its inaugural day. This brings Jailer’s first-day early estimated worldwide collection to approximately ₹90 crore.
Gadar 2’s Impressive Advance Booking Performance
Sunny Deol’s film Gadar 2 is poised for an historic opening. The film’s advance booking figures have broken significant Bollywood records. Gadar 2 recorded a first-day advance booking of ₹19 crore, nearing ₹20 crore. Its second-day (Saturday) advance booking stood at ₹5 crore 65 lakh. For the third day (Sunday), the film’s total advance booking reached ₹7 crore 25 lakh. Overall, Gadar 2’s initial three-day (weekend) all-India advance booking totaled ₹32 crore 62 lakh, surpassing ₹32 crore. This strong performance indicates that Gadar 2 is set to become Sunny Deol’s biggest blockbuster.
Bhola Shankar’s Advance Booking Figures and Performance
Chiranjeevi’s film Bhola Shankar, released solely in Telugu language, received good earnings. The film’s all-India advance booking for the three-day weekend reached ₹10 crore 30 lakh. The overseas advance booking for Bhola Shankar was ₹7 crore 50 lakh. Combined, the film’s weekend worldwide total advance booking earnings amounted to ₹17 crore 80 lakh. This collection is noted as quite low. The response for Bhola Shankar is considerably less than that received by Chiranjeevi’s previous films, such as ‘Waltair Veerayya,’ which achieved record-breaking first-day earnings.

Its second-day (Saturday) booking stood at ₹2 crore 11 lakh. The third-day (Sunday) booking for the film further contributed ₹2 crore 68 lakh. In total, the three-day (weekend) advance booking for OMG 2 amounted to ₹8 crore 64 lakh, which is considered a decent figure.
