Dhanush’s film Raayan, produced on a budget of ₹90 crore, was released 16 days ago in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The film has garnered strong earnings not only in India but also from overseas markets, becoming Dhanush’s highest-grossing film within 16 days of its release. While its Hindi collections were minimal, the Tamil and Telugu versions performed exceptionally well. The film is currently in its third week at the box office.
In its initial 14 days, Raayan achieved an India net collection of ₹90 crore 6 lakh. On its 15th day, the film collected ₹1 crore 42 lakh. Due to Saturday, the film’s collections saw a slight growth compared to the previous day, with Raayan earning ₹1 crore 80 lakh on its 16th day. This brings Raayan‘s total India net collection for the first 16 days to ₹92 crore 28 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹109 crore 81 lakh. From overseas markets, the film accumulated a total of ₹38 crore 22 lakh. As a result, Raayan‘s total worldwide collection has reached ₹148 crore 53 lakh. The film is projected to surpass the ₹150 crore mark worldwide on its 17th day and is already declared a superhit.
Deadpool & Wolverine Box Office: India & Global Collections After 16 Days
The Marvel Cinematic Universe film Deadpool & Wolverine has completed 16 days in cinemas. The film has achieved remarkable earnings at the Indian box office, with its worldwide market collection also proving to be spectacular. Deadpool & Wolverine was released in India in Hindi, English, and dubbed South Indian languages. Its Indian collection within 16 days has surpassed the lifetime collections of approximately 70% of Bollywood films released this year.
The film’s initial two weeks (14 days) saw an India net collection of ₹119 crore 9 lakh. On its 15th day, Deadpool & Wolverine collected ₹3 crore 58 lakh from India. On its 16th day, the film earned ₹3 crore 80 lakh at the Indian box office. This brings Deadpool & Wolverine‘s total India net collection for the first 16 days to ₹122 crore 47 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹146 crore 99 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection stands at 86 million dollars, which translates to approximately ₹8280 crore.
Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office: 9-Day Collection and Performance
Bollywood film Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha, directed by Neeraj Pandey and starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Sai Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari, was made on a substantial budget of ₹100 crore. The film’s box office performance was entirely disastrous. Reportedly, no top star’s Bollywood film has flopped as badly at the box office in the last 10-15 years as Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The film failed to secure a decent opening, a good weekend, or strong first-week earnings. Despite no major Bollywood releases in its second week, the film showed no significant growth during its second weekend.
In its first seven days (first week), Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha registered an India net collection of ₹10 crore 2 lakh. On its eighth day (second Friday), the film collected only ₹45 lakh. On its ninth day, due to Saturday, the film saw a slight growth compared to the previous day, with an approximate India net collection of ₹95 lakh. Consequently, Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha‘s total India net collection for the first 9 days stands at ₹11 crore 93 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹14 crore 19 lakh. The film’s worldwide total box office collection is ₹16 crore 90 lakh, which is less than 20% of its budget.
Kalki Box Office: 45-Day Total Collections and Milestones
Prabhas’s Kalki has completed 45 days in cinemas, marking a full month and a half. The film, currently in its seventh week, is performing well at the box office and is expected to complete 50 days in cinemas. Kalki was released worldwide on June 27 in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It is already an all-time blockbuster.
For its initial six weeks, Kalki‘s Hindi net collection reached ₹297 crore 1 lakh. On its 44th day, the film earned ₹8 lakh in Hindi. On its 45th day, the movie collected approximately ₹50 lakh from the Hindi market. This brings Kalki‘s total Hindi net collection to ₹298 crore 41 lakh, with a Hindi gross collection of ₹355 crore 50 lakh. From South Indian languages, the film has made a total of ₹529 crore 16 lakh. Thus, Kalki‘s all-India gross collection across all five languages has reached ₹884 crore 66 lakh. Furthermore, the film has earned ₹279 crore 12 lakh from the overseas market. Overall, Kalki‘s worldwide box office collection for the first 45 days stands at ₹1163 crore 38 lakh.
Pushpa 2: Release Date and Box Office Opening Predictions
The Pan-India film Pushpa 2 (Pushpa The Rule), directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has recently seen its shooting resume two days ago, with Allu Arjun currently filming the climax sequences. Allu Arjun’s portion of the shooting is expected to conclude in about 10-15 days, with the entire film’s shooting slated for completion by the end of October. Post-production work, including sound mixing, editing, and VFX, will be completed in November. Pan-India promotions for Pushpa 2 are set to begin in early November, involving press conferences and events across India.
The makers have officially confirmed that Pushpa 2 will be released on December 6. There are high expectations that Pushpa 2 could achieve a ₹300 crore opening on its first day at the box office. The film’s lifetime collection will be a key point of interest to see if it can surpass Kalki‘s record, which has so far earned ₹1163 crore 38 lakh at the box office.
