With an approximate budget of ₹50 crore, the film achieved significant earnings globally in its first week, already securing a ‘Hit’ tag at the box office. Its initial five days’ India net collection stood at ₹35 crore 43 lakh. On its sixth day, the film collected ₹3 crore 95 lakh, followed by an India net collection of ₹3 crore 50 lakh on its seventh day. This brings the film’s total India net collection for the first seven days to ₹42 crore 88 lakh. The India gross collection reached ₹51 crore 11 lakh. From overseas markets, “Captain Miller” earned a total of ₹13 crore 71 lakh. Consequently, the film’s seven-day worldwide box office collection totals ₹64 crore 82 lakh, establishing it as a clean hit.
Dunki’s Four-Week Box Office Performance
Bollywood’s “Dunki,” a comedy-drama directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starring Shah Rukh Khan, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu, has completed four weeks in cinemas. Released exclusively in Hindi, the film faced significant competition from Prabhas’s “Salaar.” Despite this, “Dunki” achieved good collections over its four-week run. The film’s all-India net collection reached ₹233 crore 27 lakh. Its India gross collection stands at ₹278 crore. From overseas markets, the film accumulated a total of ₹192 crore. The worldwide total box office collection for “Dunki” after four weeks is ₹470 crore, making it a clean hit globally.
Guntur Kaaram First Week Box Office Update
The Telugu action-drama film “Guntur Kaaram,” directed by Trivikram Srinivas and featuring Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, and Prakash Raj, has completed seven days in cinemas. The film recorded the biggest opening of 2024 on its first day and continued to earn well during the four to five-day holiday period. Collections remained strong even during the weekdays. However, current collections for “Guntur Kaaram” have significantly decreased. For its initial five days, the all-India net collection was ₹122 crore 70 lakh. The film’s sixth-day collection was ₹12 crore 28 lakh. On its seventh day, “Guntur Kaaram” recorded an India net collection of ₹11 crore 50 lakh. This brings the film’s initial seven-day all-India net collection to ₹136 crore 48 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹162 crore 20 lakh. Overseas, the film collected ₹48 crore 55 lakh. Despite minimal promotion in the Hindi market and the absence of a major superstar, “Hanuman” performed strongly in Hindi. Salaar Box Office: Four-Week Worldwide Collections
Prabhas’s action-packed film “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Shruti Haasan, completed four weeks in cinemas. Released on December 22nd, the film hit screens one day after Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki.” “Salaar” was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. While it secured a good number of screens in South India, it received fewer screens in the Hindi market due to the competition. Despite the significant competition from “Dunki,” “Salaar” maintained strong box office collections. The film’s total all-India net collection across all five languages reached ₹482 crore 1 lakh. The India gross collection stands at ₹575 crore. From overseas markets, “Salaar” collected a total of ₹153 crore.
