Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is reportedly continuing its strong box office performance. The film is approaching four weeks in cinemas, yet its earning momentum remains robust, with expectations to maintain its dominance into early 2025. Released on December 5th in six languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali—Pushpa 2 has now completed 27 days. Initial expectations were for the film to easily cross ₹1000 crore at the box office, but it is now close to the ₹1800 crore mark worldwide. If the film’s earnings continue at this pace, its worldwide collection is projected to surpass that of Baahubali 2 in just three to four days. It is noted that over 50% of the film’s total box office collection has come from the Hindi market alone. Pushpa 2 is expected to reach ₹1800 crore worldwide by its 28th day.

In the Hindi market, Pushpa 2 amassed ₹770 crore 25 lakh within 25 days. On its 26th day, the film added ₹5 crore 75 lakh from the Hindi market. The 27th day saw an estimated collection of ₹5 crore in Hindi. This brings the total 27-day Hindi net collection for Pushpa 2 to ₹781 crore. The Hindi gross collection stands at ₹927 crore, with expectations for its Hindi gross collection in India to surpass the ₹1000 crore mark.
Pushpa 2 India and Overseas Gross Collections
Pushpa 2’s all-India gross collection across all languages has reached ₹1520 crore. From the overseas market, the film has earned ₹270 crore. With overseas theatrical rights sold for ₹120 crore, the film has achieved double blockbuster status internationally. The combined worldwide box office collection for Pushpa 2 currently stands at ₹1790 crore. The film is anticipated to cross Baahubali 2’s lifetime box office collection record of ₹1811 crore around January 1st. Overall, Pushpa 2 is an all-time mega blockbuster.

Marco Film Box Office Update
Marco, a Malayalam film also released in Hindi on its first day, has shown a significant box office trend. Its first-week Hindi collection was ₹30-35 lakh due to limited screens and shows. However, by the second week, Hindi screens increased to between 400 and 500, leading to the film earning more in Hindi than in its first week. The Malayalam version also reported “quite splendid” collections. After 11 days, Marco’s India net collection was ₹42 crore 28 lakh. On its 12th day, the film earned ₹3 crore 10 lakh from both Hindi and Malayalam languages at the Indian box office. The initial 10-day India net collection for Marco is ₹44 crore 38 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹52 crore 81 lakh. The 12-day worldwide box office collection for Marco stands at ₹79 crore 62 lakh. Against a budget of ₹70 crore, the film has earned around ₹80 crore worldwide, making it a Super Duper Hit at the box office.

Kiccha Sudeep’s Kannada action drama thriller, Max, has received strong audience reception and positive reviews, resulting in “thundering earnings” in its first week. After seven days in cinemas, the film has made a strong impact at the Indian box office, alongside a “quite splendid” overseas collection. With a budget of ₹60 crore, the film’s earnings have been “completely thundering.” Max recorded an all-India net collection of ₹34 crore 98 lakh within its first six days. On its seventh day, the film is estimated to have earned approximately ₹2 crore 75 lakh. This brings the initial seven-day India net collection for Max to ₹37 crore 73 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹44 crore 86 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Max has reached ₹48 crore 80 lakh, with expectations to cross the ₹50 crore mark worldwide soon. The film has been declared a hit and is on its way to achieving super duper hit status.
Baby Zone Box Office Performance After One Week
Varun Dhawan’s Baby Zone, a Bollywood action-packed film released towards the end of 2024, completed seven days in cinemas. Produced with a substantial budget of ₹85 crore, the film had a good opening and received positive reviews. However, despite a four-day weekend, Baby Zone did not achieve significant earnings and has not surpassed the ₹50 crore mark after one week. The film’s initial six-day India net collection was ₹32 crore 37 lakh. On its seventh day, Baby Zone’s occupancy decreased further, with an estimated earning of ₹1 crore 85 lakh in India. Consequently, the initial seven-day India net collection for Baby Zone is ₹34 crore 32 lakh, and its India gross collection is ₹40 crore 84 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for the film stands at ₹48 crore 11 lakh. Given its budget, Baby Zone has been declared a very big flop at the box office.
