Sun Of Sardar 2 Box Office Disaster
Superstar Ajay Devgn’s comedy-drama film, Sun Of Sardar 2, released in cinemas on August 1st, has completed 13 days at the box office. The film has been a disaster, with low collections both in India and overseas. The film’s total All India Net Collection stands at ₹46 crore 22 lakh. Its India Gross Collection reached ₹55 crore 48 lakh, while the Overseas Gross Collection was only ₹11 crore 73 lakh. This brings Sun Of Sardar 2’s total World Wide Box Office Collection to ₹67 crore 21 lakh, which is significantly low compared to its budget. The film is expected to earn a maximum of ₹12 crore more before concluding its run.
Dhadak 2 Box Office Flop
The romantic drama film Dhadak 2, starring Siddharth Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri, has also completed 13 days in cinemas. Despite good reviews, the film faced tough competition from Ajay Devgn’s Sun Of Sardar 2 and Mahavatar Narasimha, resulting in fewer screens and lower-than-expected collections. With a budget of ₹55 crore, Dhadak 2’s India Net Collection is ₹22 crore 83 lakh. The India Gross Collection is ₹27 crore 38 lakh. Kingdom Box Office Hit Status
Vijay Deverakonda’s pan-India action-drama film Kingdom has completed two weeks, or 14 days, in cinemas. The film’s makers and distributors are in profit, and the film has been tagged as a box office hit. This is attributed to substantial earnings from its satellite, digital, and music rights, which allowed the theatrical rights to be sold at a lower price. Kingdom’s total India Net Collection across all languages is ₹57 crore 31 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹68 crore 76 lakh. The film also performed well overseas, accumulating an Overseas Gross Collection of ₹25 crore 9 lakh. Kingdom’s total World Wide Box Office Collection has reached ₹93 crore 85 lakh against a budget of ₹130 crore.
Mahavatar Narasimha: 20-Day Worldwide Collection
The historical action-animation drama film Mahavatar Narasimha, a surprise blockbuster of 2025, has completed 20 days in cinemas. Initially, the film’s first-day collection was ₹2 crore 45 lakh. Sayara Becomes All-Time Mega Blockbuster
The musical romantic drama film Sayara, released in 2025, has emerged as Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster of the year and an All-Time Mega Blockbuster. The film’s opening day collections were explosive, and its earnings in the first week surpassed its budget multiple times. It continued its record-breaking performance in the second week, and collections remained outstanding throughout the third and fourth weeks.

Coolie Advance Booking Collections Soar
Superstar Rajinikanth’s pan-India film Coolie, set to release on August 14th, has already made history by becoming the first film of 2025 to cross ₹100 crore in advance booking collections before its release. The film, releasing in Tamil (original), Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu, shows strong pre-release numbers.
Coolie’s first-day India advance booking collection is ₹49 crore 21 lakh. Region-wise, Tamil Nadu leads with ₹29 crore 80 lakh, followed by Karnataka with ₹9 crore 62 lakh, Kerala with ₹8 crore 3 lakh, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with ₹8 crore 24 lakh, where bookings started yesterday with an explosive response. Despite fewer screens in the Hindi market due to War 2, Coolie has secured ₹3 crore 52 lakh in advance bookings from North India. The Overseas Advance Booking Collection is ₹52 crore 77 lakh, surpassing India’s numbers. This brings Coolie’s first-day World Wide Advance Booking Collection to ₹101 crore 98 lakh, approximately ₹102 crore. The film’s weekend advance bookings have already exceeded the ₹140 crore mark.
War 2 Advance Booking Report
War 2, the action-thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, also releasing on August 14th, has seen its advance booking collections achieve blockbusters status. Initially, the response was moderate, but bookings saw a massive surge in Telugu states yesterday. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
For its first day (August 14th), War 2’s All India Advance Booking Collection is ₹22 crore 47 lakh. The second-day (August 15th) India booking is ₹13 crore 64 lakh. Saturday (third day) bookings stand at ₹8 crore 13 lakh, and Sunday (fourth day) bookings are ₹8 crore 29 lakh. This totals the initial four-day (weekend) All India Advance Booking Collection to ₹46 crore 53 lakh across all languages. The film has also received a strong response in overseas markets for its weekend bookings, accumulating ₹28 crore 15 lakh. Overall, War 2’s World Wide Advance Booking Collection for the initial four days is ₹74 crore 68 lakh.
