Kalki Box Office: A Record-Breaking Advance Booking Performance

Prabhas’s film Kalki has created a box office sensation, achieving what no other film in 2024 has. The worldwide advance booking collection of Kalki has already surpassed the first-day collections of all Indian films released this year. The film’s worldwide booking has begun, leading to a historical earning through advance bookings.

Kalki Advance Booking: India vs. Overseas Collections

Overseas advance booking for Kalki commenced approximately 12-15 days ago, while India’s booking started more recently. Upon the launch of India’s booking, ticket sales rapidly reached 60,000 to 70,000 per hour. Within just a few hours, Kalki earned crores in advance bookings. Currently, advance booking across India is not fully open, with availability primarily in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and select locations in North India.

Regional Advance Booking Figures for Kalki

In Telangana, where booking started yesterday evening, Kalki has collected ₹15 crore 48 lakh in advance bookings. Tamil Nadu, which opened bookings yesterday afternoon, has contributed ₹2 crore 27 lakh so far. Karnataka has also shown a strong response, with advance booking collections reaching ₹3 crore 4 lakh. For North India, where bookings are open on only 25% of screens for Hindi and Telugu versions, the film has earned ₹1 crore 16 lakh in advance bookings.

Kalki All India and Worldwide Advance Booking Totals

The all-India advance booking collection for Kalki stands at ₹22 crore 94 lakh within a few hours. Looking at overseas markets, the total weekend booking has reached 3.50 million US dollars, equivalent to ₹29 crore 24 lakh in Indian currency. Combining these figures, Kalki’s worldwide total advance booking collection for the weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) has hit ₹51 crore 18 lakh. This means Kalki has already secured over ₹50 crore from advance bookings.

Kalki’s Projected Box Office Opening

Despite limited booking availability in India, the response suggests that Kalki is set for a ₹200 crore opening on its first day at the box office. This projected first-day opening of ₹200 crore is a significant achievement, especially compared to Bollywood films that often take two weeks to reach the same ₹200 crore mark. Following a strong opening driven by Prabhas’s stardom, the film’s lifetime box office collection could potentially reach ₹1000-1500 crore if the content resonates with audiences.
