Adipurush Box Office: 5-Day Worldwide Collection Report
Adipurush, starring Pan-India superstar Prabhas, showed a significant drop at the box office on weekdays after an impressive performance over the first three days. This trend suggests that the film’s lifetime collection might not meet initial expectations. The film has now completed five days since its release in cinemas.
Adipurush Initial Box Office Performance & Expectations
On its opening day, Adipurush earned ₹140 crore worldwide. This strong start led to initial projections that the film would achieve massive success at the box office and emerge as the biggest blockbuster of 2023. However, mixed reviews from the public raised concerns about its ability to maintain momentum beyond the opening weekend. In its first three days, Adipurush garnered an All India Net Collection of ₹249 crore from five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. On the fourth day, the film’s collections in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages (South languages) dropped even more significantly than in Hindi. The All India Net Collection from all five languages on the fourth day was ₹22 crore. On its fifth day, with occupancy further declining compared to the previous day, Adipurush is estimated to collect an All India Net Collection of approximately ₹20 crore across all languages. Consequently, the film’s cumulative All India Net Collection for the first five days stands at ₹281 crore, with an India Gross Collection of ₹334 crore.
Adipurush Overseas and Worldwide Box Office Earnings
The overseas market contributed approximately ₹67 crore to Adipurush’s earnings. Combining its domestic and international collections, the film’s worldwide collection for the first five days is approximately ₹401 crore. According to early estimates, Adipurush has surpassed the ₹400 crore mark in worldwide collections across all languages within its first five days. The trajectory for the film’s collections in the coming days and its final lifetime box office total remains to be seen.
