Dunki Advance Booking: ₹43.08 Crore Worldwide for 4-Day Weekend

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has commenced its advance booking, showing fantastic earnings despite its clash with Prabhas’s Salaar. The advance booking collection for Dunki is already more than the first-day collection of many other big Bollywood films. For its first day, Dunki registered an All India Booking of ₹7.56 crore. Overseas first-day booking amounted to ₹18.22 crore. The first-day worldwide advance booking collection for Dunki is ₹25.78 crore, marking over ₹25 crore in first-day advance earnings.

For its four-day weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), the film’s All India Booking stands at ₹13.47 crore. The overseas weekend booking is ₹29.61 crore. The total four-day weekend worldwide advance booking for Dunki has reached ₹43.08 crore, exceeding ₹40 crore in advance booking. Advance bookings are seeing a significant surge every hour, with expectations of substantial earnings before the film’s release. The first-day collection for Dunki is projected to be a minimum of ₹50 crore.

Salaar Advance Booking: ₹47.74 Crore Worldwide for Weekend

Pan-India Superstar Prabhas’s Salaar has also begun its advance booking, with the Hindi market receiving a tremendous response. Karnataka and Kerala have also shown a “bawaal” response. Notably, advance booking has not yet started in Salaar’s main market of Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). Despite this, Salaar’s advance booking earnings are significantly higher than Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki.

For its first day, Salaar’s All India Booking across five languages is ₹9.84 crore. The first-day overseas advance booking collection is ₹20.17 crore. Salaar’s first-day worldwide advance booking collection is ₹30.01 crore, with first-day bookings crossing ₹30 crore. For its three-day weekend (Friday), the India booking totals ₹16.28 crore. Overseas weekend booking stands at ₹31.46 crore. The total weekend worldwide advance booking for Salaar has reached ₹47.74 crore, surpassing ₹47 crore in worldwide advance booking.

Box Office Trends and Comparisons

Both Dunki and Salaar are experiencing tough competition (“kaante ki takkar”) in their advance bookings. Salaar’s advance booking collections are ahead of Dunki’s. The opening collection for Salaar is anticipated to be higher than Dunki’s. Animal will retain more screens for the next three days before Dunki and Salaar’s release, after which its screen count will decrease.
