Prabhas’ film Adipurush has broken the biggest record of 2023. The record for the biggest opening of 2023 was previously held by Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan, but Adipurush has completely shattered Pathaan’s worldwide box office collection record on its very first day. The film has received a tremendous opening.
First Day Worldwide Box Office Collection
Adipurush achieved a worldwide gross collection of approximately ₹130 crore from all languages on its first day. The film made a spectacular earning of ₹130 crore worldwide on its first day.
Adipurush First Day India Net Collections by Language
Adipurush took a record-breaking opening on its first day, especially in the Hindi market and the Telugu market. The film was completely housefull in maximum places. In Telugu, the film started shows as early as 3 AM, and even these early morning 3 AM shows were completely housefull.
On its first day, Adipurush collected a net of ₹32 crore from Hindi alone. With this performance, it has become the second biggest opener of 2023 in the Hindi market. The film performed exceptionally well in the Telugu version, collecting a net of ₹45 crore from India on its first day. Furthermore, Adipurush collected approximately ₹10 crore net from India in the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages combined.

The total India net collection for Adipurush across all five languages stands at ₹87 crore. The India gross collection reached approximately ₹104 crore. Additionally, on its first day, Adipurush collected approximately in the range of ₹26 crore from the overseas market.

The film has received a tremendous opening. Now, the focus is on where the film’s lifetime collection goes. Speculation suggests Adipurush’s final collection could be ₹500 crore, ₹800 crore, ₹1000 crore, or even more.
