Sayara Continues Strong Box Office Run
The musical romantic drama film Sayara, directed by Mohit Suri, starring Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda in their Bollywood debut, has completed one week in cinemas. With a budget of ₹60 crore, the film has consistently earned over ₹20 crore every day since its release. Contrary to initial expectations that it might not even achieve a ₹20 crore lifetime collection, Sayara delivered a record-breaking opening day, followed by blockbuster weekend collections and a strong hold during weekdays. Globally, the film has already earned more than four times its budget within its first week, securing excellent collections both in India and overseas markets. Sayara’s first-week performance has surpassed that of films like Salman Khan’s Sikandar, Akshay Kumar’s Housefull Five, and Ajay Devgan’s Red Two this year.
Sayara’s Seven-Day Box Office Figures
Sayara accumulated an India net collection of ₹133 crore 75 lakh in its first five days. On its sixth day, the film added ₹22 crore 45 lakh to its Indian box office earnings. The seventh-day India net collection is estimated at ₹20 crore 35 lakh, bringing Sayara’s total seven-day All India net collection to ₹176 crore 55 lakh. The film’s first-week India gross collection has reached ₹210 crore 26 lakh, crossing the ₹200 crore mark in India gross within its debut week. Overseas, Sayara’s gross collection stands at ₹33 crore 82 lakh. Combining these figures, Sayara’s total worldwide collection for its first seven days is ₹244 crore 8 lakh. The film is expected to cross the ₹250 crore mark on its eighth day.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Registers Biggest 2025 Opening
Pawan Kalyan’s action-adventure period thriller, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Jyothi Krishna, features Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Bobby Deol, and Nidhhi Agerwal. Released in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi – the film has a total budget of ₹250 crore. Prior to its release, the film generated over ₹50 crore in advance bookings. Digital rights for all languages were sold for ₹75 crore, satellite rights for ₹42 crore, and music rights for ₹16 crore, leading to a pre-release recovery of ₹133 crore.
The film was released on 45,000 screens worldwide across all five languages. While the Hindi version received fewer screens and shows due to competition, the film saw record-breaking first-day collections in the South. Telugu states reported completely housefull morning shows with 100% occupancy in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, driven by Pawan Kalyan’s stardom. Afternoon, evening, and night show bookings were also solid. Karnataka also registered a bumper response on the first day. However, the Hindi response was cold, and performance in Tamil Nadu and Kerala was not as strong.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s First Day Global Collections
Hari Hara Veera Mallu achieved an All India net collection of ₹55 crore across all languages on its first day, marking the biggest opening for 2025 in India net collection. The first-day India gross collection is approximately ₹65 crore.
