Pan-India superstar Prabhas’s film Adipurush commenced its advance booking in India yesterday, completing just one day. In this single day, the film has achieved impressive advance booking earnings, indicating its potential to become the biggest opener of 2023 and easily surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan record. Releasing in five languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—Adipurush’s worldwide advance booking collections have been remarkable. The film has only three days remaining until its release, yet its advance booking earnings before release are higher than the opening day collections of many Bollywood films. While overseas advance bookings for Adipurush began approximately one and a half weeks ago, India’s advance booking, including Hindi and limited bookings for other languages, started yesterday.

In its initial 24 hours, Adipurush secured bookings of 5 crore 70 lakh rupees from its Hindi version alone in India. For the Telugu version, although full bookings have not yet started, 20,000 tickets have already been booked, bringing Telugu bookings to approximately 3 crore 85 lakh rupees. Furthermore, the advance booking collection from the other three languages—Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada—stands at 96 lakh rupees. Combining all languages, Adipurush’s total India advance booking within 24 hours has reached 10 crore 50 lakh rupees.
