Adipurush is reported to have a budget exceeding 700 Crores, making it the most expensive film in Bollywood and Hindustan.
Adipurush Pre-Release Box Office Performance
Even before its release, the film’s producers have already generated over 400 Crores in earnings. This significant collection occurred approximately two weeks prior to the film’s scheduled release. Adipurush is set for a global release on June 16th in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Adipurush Worldwide Advance Booking Collections
Advance bookings for Adipurush have not yet commenced in India. However, limited bookings have started in select international cities and countries. From these limited overseas bookings, the film has collected $65,000, which translates to approximately 53 or 54 Lakhs in Indian currency. The film has received a remarkable response from advance bookings abroad.
Pre-Release Rights Sales & Earnings
The Telugu state theatrical rights for Adipurush have been sold for 170 Crores. Additionally, the digital (OTT) rights for all five languages have been secured for 250 Crores. Combining these sales, the filmmakers have generated 420 Crores from rights before the film’s release, specifically 15 days prior. Rights for Satellite (TV telecast), Hindi, Tamil Nadu, and other states are still pending sale. It is anticipated that Adipurush will earn more than its budget before its release. If the audience connects with the film, it is projected to potentially achieve 1000 Crores at the box office.
