Maha Box Office: 12-Day Worldwide Collections

The fantasy horror thriller film Maha, with a budget of ₹40 crore, secured good screen availability in its first week. However, new Bollywood releases and an increase in screens for Aamir Khan’s Sitare Zameen Par led to a decline in its collections during the second week. Despite this, the film has achieved decent collections in 12 days worldwide relative to its budget.

Maha recorded an India Net Collection of ₹32 crore 28 lakh in its initial 10 days. On its 11th day, a Monday, the film earned ₹1 crore 16 lakh at the Indian Box Office. Occupancy for morning, afternoon, evening, and night shows on the 12th day improved slightly compared to the previous day. As per reports, Maha is set to collect an estimated ₹1 crore 25 lakh India Net on its 12th day, bringing its total India Net Collection over 12 days to ₹34 crore 69 lakh. The India Gross Collection for the same period stands at ₹41 crore 28 lakh. Globally, the film has garnered ₹47 crore 36 lakh from the worldwide market in 12 days. Its worldwide collection is projected to cross the ₹50 crore mark within the next day or two. Currently, Maha holds an “Average” status at the box office, with expectations it might achieve a “Hit” tag.

Kanappa Box Office Performance: 12-Day Worldwide Report

The pan-India action drama fantasy period film Kanappa, which makers stated had a budget of ₹200 crore, has faced a disastrous box office performance. While Prabhas’ cameo contributed to decent collections for its Telugu version, the film did not perform well in the Hindi market despite the presence of Akshay Kumar. This was largely due to the release coinciding with other major Bollywood films, resulting in fewer screens for Kanappa in Hindi. Collections from its Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions over 12 days have also been considerably lower than expected.

Over its initial 12 days, Kanappa recorded a collection of ₹31 crore 64 lakh from Telugu states. The North India (Hindi version) contributed ₹4 crore 82 lakh. Additionally, the Tamil version earned ₹1 crore 73 lakh, the Malayalam version ₹1 crore 57 lakh, and the Kannada version ₹1 crore 28 lakh. This totals an India Net Collection of ₹41 crore 4 lakh across all five languages in 12 days. The India Gross Collection reached ₹48 crore 86 lakh. Its worldwide box office collection for the 12-day period stands at ₹58 crore 73 lakh. Compared to its stated budget of ₹200 crore, the film has collected significantly less, proving to be a major disaster at the box office.

Metro In Dino Box Office: 5-Day Worldwide Earnings

The romantic drama film Metro In Dino, made on a budget of ₹100 crore, has completed five days in cinemas. The film experienced a slow opening but saw a significant jump in collections on its second and third days. Following the first Monday (day 4), collections saw a slight decline, partly attributed to weekdays and reduced ticket prices. Occupancy on the fifth day’s morning shows dropped slightly compared to the fourth day, with bookings for afternoon, evening, and night shows also decreasing.

Metro In Dino’s India Net Collection reached ₹18 crore 65 lakh in its initial three days. On its first Monday (fourth day), the film earned ₹3 crore 86 lakh at the Indian Box Office. Reports indicate an estimated India Net Collection of ₹2 crore 50 lakh on its fifth day, bringing the total India Net Collection over five days to ₹24 crore 1 lakh. The India Gross Collection for the same period is ₹28 crore 57 lakh. The film’s worldwide collection over five days stands at ₹32 crore 61 lakh. For the film to be declared a “Hit” against its ₹100 crore budget, it will need to earn substantially more.

Sitare Zameen Par Box Office: 19-Day Worldwide Collections

The comedy drama sport film Sitare Zameen Par, starring Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, was released on June 20th and is nearing the completion of its third week in cinemas. With a budget of ₹80 crore, the film has maintained its strong presence at the box office despite the release and run of several other films. Its collections have shown a steady increase. The film was released worldwide in three languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Sitare Zameen Par registered an India Net Collection of ₹148 crore 72 lakh in its initial 17 days. On its third Monday (18th day), the film added ₹1 crore 85 lakh to its Indian Box Office earnings. Occupancy on the 19th day’s morning, afternoon, evening, and night shows reportedly saw a further drop compared to the 18th day. As per current reports, Sitare Zameen Par is estimated to collect ₹1 crore 50 lakh India Net on its 19th day. This brings the film’s total India Net Collection over 19 days to ₹152 crore 7 lakh. The India Gross Collection for the same period has reached ₹180 crore 96 lakh, which is already more than double its ₹80 crore budget. The film’s worldwide market collection stands at ₹235 crore 17 lakh. There is an expectation that the worldwide collection will surpass ₹250 crore within a few days.
