Kichdi 2 Box Office Performance
The Bollywood film Kichdi 2, made on a budget of ₹5 crore, earned ₹1 crore 10 lakh on its opening day in India. On its second day, the film’s collections saw a slight increase, bringing in ₹1 crore 35 lakh. However, on the third day, a Sunday, the film’s collection did not show significant growth, collecting ₹1 crore 20 lakh, impacted by a cricket match. With this, Kichdi 2‘s total India net collection over its first three days stands at ₹3 crore 65 lakh, with an India gross collection of approximately ₹4 crore. Considering its budget, the film has made a good earning in three days.
Tiger 3 Box Office Collection and Trends
Salman Khan’s action film Tiger 3 had a spectacular opening at the box office. The film performed well for the first four days, but subsequently, its collections experienced a significant drop day by day. Tiger 3, released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu with a budget of ₹300 crore, is currently in its second week.
In its first seven days, Tiger 3 recorded a net collection of ₹214 crore 25 lakh from Hindi markets. The Tamil and Telugu net collections for the first seven days were approximately ₹6 crore. This brings the film’s all-India net collection across all three languages for its first week to ₹220 crore 25 lakh.
On its eighth day, which was a Sunday, Tiger 3‘s collections were not high, largely due to the World Cup final match. While morning shows saw a good start, afternoon and evening shows faced low audience turnout in most places. The night bookings remained decent. According to reports, Tiger 3 garnered an all-India net collection of ₹15 crore 50 lakh on its eighth day (second Sunday).
The cumulative India net collection for Tiger 3 has now reached ₹235 crore 75 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹280 crore 54 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Tiger 3 is ₹374 crore 344 crore. To achieve a ‘clean hit’ status at the box office, the film needs a minimum India net collection of at least ₹350 crore, and its worldwide gross collection should be in the range of ₹600 crore to be tagged as a hit or superhit in the global market.
Salaar Advance Booking Report
The action film Salaar, starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan, is set to release in approximately 25 days. Its advance bookings have commenced in the USA and UK, receiving an overwhelming response from both regions. In the USA, Salaar has garnered an advance booking of $90,365, while in the UK, it has collected $27,744. This totals to an advance booking earning of $118,109 from both the UK and USA, which translates to approximately ₹1 crore 15 lakh in Indian currency. Despite the film’s release being 25 days away and advance bookings only recently starting, Salaar has already surpassed the ₹1 crore mark in advance collections. It is anticipated that upon its release, Salaar could achieve a worldwide opening of ₹150 to ₹200 crore on its first day.
Dunki Box Office Expectations
Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is anticipated to make a significant impact at the box office. Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan delivered Pathaan, an all-time mega blockbuster that collected over ₹1000 crore. Eight months later, Jawan surpassed it, becoming an even bigger blockbuster and also collecting over ₹1000 crore at the box office. With Dunki, expectations are high that Shah Rukh Khan will once again dominate cinemas. If all goes well, Dunki is projected to achieve box office collections even higher than Pathaan and Jawan. The film’s first teaser, ‘Dunki Drop Oवन’, has been released and was well-received by the Indian audience, setting the tone for a blockbuster film. The first song from Dunki, “Lutt Putt Gaya,” is scheduled for release on November 22.
