The Marvels Box Office Performance
The Marvels has completed two days on the Indian Box Office, achieving decent earnings during its initial run. While the film secured a good opening on its first day, owing to the MCU brand, reviews did not meet expectations. This resulted in a lack of growth in collections on its second day. The Marvels collected ₹7 crore 50 lakh on its first day in India. Its second-day India collection across all languages stood at ₹7 crore. Consequently, the film’s All India Net Collection for the first two days is ₹14 crore 50 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹17 crore over the same period.
Dunki Box Office Expectations
Bollywood’s Shah Rukh Khan is set to make new history at the box office with his upcoming film, Dunki. Shah Rukh Khan has already delivered two all-time mega-blockbuster films in 2023, Pathaan and Jawan, both of which earned over ₹1000 crore worldwide. Dunki is expected to take an opening of over ₹100 crore on its first day at the box office. If the film performs well, it could potentially earn ₹1000 crore at the box office, similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous films. The film’s release date for Christmas (21st, 22nd, or 25th December) has not yet been specified by the makers on the posters.
Tiger 3 Breaks Advance Booking Records
Salman Khan’s film Tiger 3 has already achieved record-breaking earnings at the box office through its advance bookings. The first-day All India booking for Tiger 3 has exceeded ₹26 crore, with approximately 1 million tickets sold for the opening day. The All India advance booking collection for the initial four days (November 12, 13, 14, and 15) has surpassed ₹50 crore. In overseas markets, Tiger 3’s total advance booking collection is over ₹16 crore. With this, the worldwide total advance booking collection for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 has reached ₹667 crore. Given the tremendous response received in advance bookings, the film is expected to make record-breaking earnings on its first day of release.
Leo’s Continued Box Office Dominance
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Leo, released last month, is currently in its fourth week at the box office and continues to make significant earnings. For its first three weeks, the film faced minimal competition and achieved good collections across all languages. As the fourth week began, new South Indian films were released, particularly in the Tamil version, which reduced Leo’s screen count. Despite having fewer screens, Leo continues to perform strongly, with its collections across five languages remaining decent in the fourth week.
The film’s All India Net Collection across all languages for the initial three weeks was ₹357 crore 50 lakh. On its fourth Friday, Leo recorded an All India Net Collection of ₹1 crore 61 lakh across all languages. On its fourth Saturday, the film is projected to achieve an All India Net Collection of approximately ₹1 crore 80 lakh, showing better occupancy compared to the previous day. Leo’s All India Net Collection for the initial 24 days stands at ₹360 crore 91 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹429 crore. The film has also made historic earnings overseas, with its Overseas Gross Collection reaching ₹202 crore. The total worldwide box office collection for Leo within its initial 24 days has reached ₹631 crore, marking it as a blockbuster.
