Ponniyin Selvan 2 (PS2) First Week Box Office Performance
The pan-India film PS2, released in five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, has completed 7 days at the box office, marking its first week. The film’s collections in its first week have been impressive. The highest collections for PS2 came from the Tamil language. However, the film did not achieve significant collections in Hindi and other languages.
PS2 registered an India net collection of 126 crore from all languages in its initial six days. On its seventh day, the film is collecting approximately 8 crore net from India. This brings PS2’s initial seven-day India net collection to 134 crore. The India gross collection stands at 160 crore. Regarding worldwide collections, the film’s estimated worldwide collection for the first week is approximately 258 crore. PS2 has crossed the 250 crore mark globally in its first week and is declared a Super Duper Hit at the box office.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan 14-Day Box Office Collection
Salman Khan’s film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which was released during the Eid weekend, performed well in its first week. However, collections significantly dropped from the second week onwards. The initial two-week collections for the film are decent, though they can be considered low compared to Salman Khan’s stardom. Despite completing two weeks, the movie has not been able to cross the 200 crore mark worldwide.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had an India net collection of 107 crore 60 lakh in its initial 13 days (until yesterday). On its 14th day, the film is collecting 1 crore 40 lakh India net. Consequently, the initial two-week India net collection for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is 109 crore, with an India gross collection of 131 crore. The estimated worldwide collection for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in its initial two weeks is 183 crore. To enter the 200 crore club, the film still needs to earn 17 crore more. It is anticipated that the film will achieve this in its third week, with a final worldwide collection projected to be around 205-210 crore.
