WAR 2 Box Office Collection Prediction: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR Day 1 Earnings, Plus Raid 2 and Kesari Chapter 2 Updates

Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Performance

Akshay Kumar’s historical drama film, Kesari Chapter 2, has completed over a month, nearly six weeks, in cinemas. The film’s box office collections in India have been excellent, with strong overseas earnings as well. Kesari Chapter 2 was initially released on limited screens in its first week, with the screen count further reducing after the second, third, and fourth weeks. Currently, the film continues its run in approximately 350 screens across India.

Kesari Chapter 2 Total Collections to Date

To date, Kesari Chapter 2 has achieved an All India Net Collection of ₹93 crore 21 lakh. Its India Gross Collection stands at ₹110 crore 85 lakh. The film also recorded a strong Overseas Gross Collection of ₹34 crore 52 lakh. Cumulatively, Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2 has garnered a worldwide market collection of ₹145 crore 37 lakh.

Kesari Chapter 2 Lifetime Box Office Forecast

The film is expected to release in Telugu this week, with its Telugu version collection projected to be at least ₹1 crore. This could lead to a lifetime box office collection for Kesari Chapter 2 potentially touching ₹160 or ₹165 crore. With a budget of ₹80 crore, if the film’s lifetime collection reaches ₹160 crore, it would be double its budget, signifying it has become a box office hit. Prior to its theatrical release, the film’s digital rights were sold for ₹52 crore, satellite rights for ₹27 crore, and music rights for ₹11 crore, totaling a pre-release recovery of ₹90 crore, which exceeded its budget. The film has earned nearly double its budget at the box office.

Red 2 Box Office Highlights and Trends

Ajay Devgan’s film Red 2, with a budget of ₹55 crore, earned more than its budget within three days of its release. The film’s collections continued to rise rapidly, surpassing the ₹100 crore mark in its first week. The second week also saw completely excellent earnings. Red 2 is nearing the completion of its third week in cinemas and continues to perform strongly at the box office. Despite facing the release of several major films, including South Indian and Hollywood productions, Red 2 remains resilient. Collections are expected to increase for another day or two, though a significant drop might occur with the release of three to four new Bollywood films this Friday.

Red 2 Day-Wise and Total Worldwide Collections

In its initial 19 days, Ajay Devgan’s Red 2 achieved an India Net Collection of ₹155 crore 82 lakh. On its 20th day, the film added ₹1 crore 96 lakh from the Indian market. For its 21st day, Red 2 is projected to collect ₹1 crore 85 lakh in India Net Collection. This projection comes as morning show occupancy for Red 2 dropped by 7-8% compared to the previous day, though afternoon, evening, and night show bookings remained similar. This brings the film’s initial 21-day India Net Collection to ₹159 crore 63 lakh. The India Gross Collection stands at ₹190 crore, with expectations that it will cross the ₹200 crore mark within the next two to four days. Globally, Red 2 has recorded a magnificent worldwide collection of ₹218 crore in 21 days. Given its budget of ₹55 crore and worldwide earnings of ₹218 crore, Ajay Devgan’s Red 2 has proven to be a blockbuster film at the box office.

War 2 First Day Box Office Predictions

The 2025 Indian film War 2 is anticipated to set new box office records. Predictions for its first-day performance suggest a strong showing across multiple markets. While War’s first part earned over ₹50 crore in the Hindi market, War 2’s significantly higher anticipation leads to a projected ₹65 crore from the Hindi market alone on its opening day. In the Telugu states, benefiting from Junior NTR’s significant stardom and his films’ record-breaking openings, War 2 is expected to collect approximately ₹50 crore on its first day. However, due to the simultaneous release of Rajinikanth’s Coolie, War 2 might secure fewer screens in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, leading to an estimated first-day collection of around ₹8 crore from these remaining states.

War 2 India and Worldwide Opening Day Forecast

Combining these figures, War 2’s All India Net Collection on its first day is projected to be approximately ₹123 crore, resulting in an India Gross Collection of ₹146 crore. In the overseas market, considering the combined appeal and strong performance of both Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR’s films, War 2 is predicted to earn between ₹50 to ₹55 crore on its opening day. This brings War 2’s first-day worldwide box office collection forecast to approximately ₹200 crore. If the film is well-received, its lifetime box office collection could exceed ₹1500 crore. Even with an average reception, War 2 is expected to easily achieve a lifetime collection of over ₹1000 crore at the box office.
