21 Box Office Collection: Two-Day Worldwide Earnings

The historical war action drama film 21 saw an opening at the box office that surpassed expectations. Its first-day earnings were nearly double what was predicted, largely attributed to it being Dharmendra’s final film. The film, made on a budget of ₹70 crore, was released on 1500 screens worldwide.

On its first day, 21 registered an India Net Collection of ₹7 crore 19 lakh. This collection was higher than anticipated, aided by the New Year holiday advantage. However, on its second day, a normal working Friday, the film experienced a drop in occupancy, with morning shows seeing a 50% decrease compared to the previous day. Afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also showed a significant drop.

Current reports suggest that 21 is earning ₹3 crore 25 lakh in India on its second day. Consequently, the film’s total India Net Collection for its first two days amounts to ₹10 crore 44 lakh, with an India Gross Collection of ₹12 crore 11 lakh. Globally, the film’s overseas gross collection has been ₹1 crore 23 lakh, resulting in a total worldwide collection of ₹13 crore 54 lakh for its first two days. A significant surge in collections is expected over the upcoming Saturday and Sunday.

This brings the All India advance booking collection from these two states to ₹4 crore 30 lakh. The film has also performed exceptionally well in overseas bookings, collecting ₹16 crore 45 lakh. Combined, Jananayagan’s total worldwide advance booking collection stands at ₹20 crore 75 lakh.

Dhurandhar’s India Net Collection for its first 27 days was ₹766 crore 90 lakh. On its 28th day, January 1st, the film secured a robust ₹17 crore 25 lakh in the Indian market. However, on its 29th day, a normal working Friday, morning show occupancy experienced a significant drop compared to the previous day’s holiday. Despite this, Dhurandhar is reportedly earning in the range of ₹1 crore India Net Collection on its 29th day.
