Skandha Box Office: 10-Day Worldwide Collection Update
Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela starrer Skandha, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, has completed 10 days at the box office. The film performed well in its first eight days. However, collections began to decline in its second week due to the release of several new South Indian films.
Skandha’s total worldwide gross collection over eight days stood at ₹31 crore 10 lakh. On its ninth day, the film added ₹2 crore 35 lakh to its worldwide gross collection. For its tenth day, Skandha is estimated to collect approximately ₹1 crore 50 lakh. With these figures, the film’s total worldwide gross collection over the first 10 days reaches ₹33 crore 95 lakh.
Dono Box Office: First Three Days Collection and Trends
Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer Deol’s debut film, Dono, released on a Thursday and is now in its third day in cinemas. Despite being released on less than 300 screens, the film’s collections are noted as quite good relative to its screen count.
On its first day, Dono collected ₹35 lakh. The second day saw a slight growth, with the film earning ₹69 lakh. Reports indicate that the third day’s occupancy doubled compared to the first day, and Dono is estimated to collect approximately ₹90 lakh on its third day. In total, Dono’s collection over the initial three days is ₹1 crore 94 lakh.
Leo Advance Booking: Overseas Performance and Opening Day Projections
Thalapathy Vijay’s film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is anticipated to make a significant impact at the box office. It is projected that the film will secure a worldwide opening of at least ₹100 crore on its first day.
The Hindi version of Leo will be released, but its distribution in North India will be limited to single-screen cinemas, excluding major multiplex chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis. Despite this, the film is expected to achieve strong earnings even on fewer screens due to Thalapathy Vijay’s stardom.
With 10 to 12 days still remaining until its release, Leo has already achieved historic earnings in overseas advance bookings. The film’s overseas advance booking stands at $1.8 million, which converts to approximately ₹15 crore in Indian currency. Leo has already surpassed ₹15 crore in overseas advance bookings.
Mission Raniganj Box Office: Two-Day Collection Report
Akshay Kumar’s film Mission Raniganj experienced a slow start at the box office on its first day. However, positive reviews led to a significant jump in its performance on the second day.
On its opening day, Mission Raniganj recorded a net collection of just ₹3 crore 50 lakh. The film saw good growth in its second-day collections. While morning shows on the second day had a decent opening, bookings improved considerably for afternoon, evening, and night shows. As a result, Mission Raniganj is estimated to achieve an India net collection of approximately ₹5 crore 50 lakh on its second day.
This brings Mission Raniganj’s total India net collection over the first two days to ₹9 crore. The India gross collection for the same period is ₹10 crore 71 lakh. Additionally, the film’s overseas gross earnings are approximately ₹3 crore 36 lakh. Cumulatively, Mission Raniganj’s worldwide gross collection for the first two days stands at ₹14 crore 7 lakh. The film’s worldwide collection of ₹14 crore 7 lakh in two days is noted as a relatively low figure.
