Skanda’s Four-Day Worldwide Box Office Performance

The Pan India film Skanda, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film earned the most from its Telugu version, with no significant collection in Hindi due to lack of promotion and fewer screens.

Skanda recorded a strong four-day collection in the worldwide market. In its initial two days, the film accumulated a worldwide total gross collection of 27 crore 60 lakh across all languages. On its third day, the worldwide gross collection stood at 11 crore 80 lakh. For its fourth day, Skanda is estimated to earn approximately 1 crore 50 lakh from the worldwide market. This brings Skanda’s total worldwide gross collection for its first four days to 52 crore 90 lakh. The film is projected to cover its budget within five days, positioning it as a clean hit at the box office.

Leo’s Impressive Worldwide Advance Booking Collections

The action-drama film Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Sanjay Dutt, is three weeks away from its release. Despite this, its advance booking commenced well in advance in overseas markets, starting a month prior to release in the UK. Currently, advance bookings for Leo are open in the UK, USA, Gulf countries, Germany, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Across these six countries, Leo has already generated 4 crore 87 lakh from advance bookings. In India, advance bookings have begun in Kerala, where the film has earned 2 crore 41 lakh. Globally, Leo’s worldwide advance booking for the weekend totals 7 crore 28 lakh. The film is anticipated to achieve at least a 100 crore opening upon its release.

Jawan Sets New Box Office Records with 600 Crore India Net

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar, has created new history at the Indian Box Office. The film’s earnings have been notable throughout its run, with a tremendous first week, superb second week, intense third week, and outstanding collection in its fourth week.

This makes Jawan the first Bollywood film to surpass the 600 crore mark in Indian net collection. Shah Rukh Khan previously had Pathaan, the first Bollywood film of his to earn 500 crore net, and Jawan now marks the first Bollywood film to cross 600 crore in India net.

Internationally, Jawan has collected 354 crore. Its worldwide total gross collection currently stands at 1084 crore, with projections to cross 1100 crore globally in the coming two days. Jawan has been declared an all-time blockbuster at the box office.

Gadar 2 Achieves All-Time Blockbuster Status with 603 Crore Worldwide

Anil Sharma’s action film Gadar 2, starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, was released on August 11th. Despite a clash with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2, which resulted in significant competition and fewer screens, Gadar 2 achieved strong collections for its initial three weeks. However, the film’s screen count was considerably reduced from its fourth and fifth weeks.

Gadar 2’s India net collection for its first seven weeks totaled 524 crore 75 lakh. Entering its eighth week, the film earned approximately 2 crore 25 lakh in all-India net collection during its initial three-day weekend. This brings Gadar 2’s cumulative all-India net collection to 527 crore. Notably, the film was released solely in Hindi.

The all-India gross collection for Gadar 2 stands at 630 crore. From overseas markets, the film has generated 73 crore. Consequently, Gadar 2’s worldwide total box office collection has reached 603 crore, establishing it as an all-time blockbuster. With a budget of only 60-70 crore, Gadar 2 is highlighted as the most profitable film of 2023, especially when compared to Jawan and Pathaan, which had budgets of 250 crore and 300 crore respectively.
