Singham Again Box Office: Second Week Performance and Worldwide Collections
Superstar Ajay Devgan’s film Singham Again, released on Diwali, has entered its second week at the box office. The film achieved record-breaking worldwide earnings in its first week and continued with strong collections as it entered the second week. With a budget of 350 crore, Singham Again secured Ajay Devgan’s career-highest opening, earning over ₹5 crore worldwide on its first day. Positive reviews contributed to strong collections through the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh days.
All eyes were on the second weekend as no new Bollywood films were released, allowing Singham Again to retain its screens from the first week. The film maintained a good hold on its second Friday. It is expected to show a significant jump on its second Saturday and Sunday, with predictions for a big surge in earnings on the Indian box office and overseas. Singham Again has already been declared a hit and is anticipated to become a blockbuster.
Regarding its eight-day worldwide collection, Singham Again garnered an India net collection of ₹175 crore 40 lakh within the first six days. On its seventh day, the film added over ₹10 crore to its India net collection. Reports indicate an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹9 crore 50 lakh on the eighth day, reflecting a slight drop in occupancy on Friday. This brings Singham Again‘s total all-India net collection to ₹195 crore 75 lakh within its first eight days, with an India gross collection of ₹232 crore 86 lakh. The film has surpassed the ₹50 crore mark in the overseas market, accumulating ₹54 crore 17 lakh from international territories. Cumulatively, Singham Again‘s eight-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹287 crore 3 lakh. It is confirmed that the film’s worldwide box office collection will exceed ₹300 crore on its ninth day and is projected to reach between ₹350 crore and ₹400 crore.
Aran Movie Box Office: Sivakarthikeyan’s Career-Highest Collections
The Tamil movie Aran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, was made on a budget of ₹150 crore and released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. While the film faced competition from two major Bollywood releases, limiting its screens and earnings in the Hindi market, its collections in South Indian languages have become Sivakarthikeyan’s career-highest. Aran has already become his highest-grossing film and his first to cross the ₹200 crore mark worldwide, achieving a super duper hit status. The movie is further expected to cross the ₹250 crore milestone.
In terms of its nine-day all-language worldwide box office collection, Aran recorded an India net collection of ₹109 crore 23 lakh within the first seven days. On its eighth day, the film added ₹6 crore 31 lakh to its net collection across all languages. The ninth day saw a slight drop in occupancy compared to the previous day, with estimated earnings of approximately ₹5.5 crore. This brings Aran‘s initial nine-day India net collection to ₹121 crore 4 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹143 crore 92 lakh. From the overseas market, the film has earned ₹55 crore 64 lakh. The total nine-day worldwide collection for Aran is ₹199 crore 56 lakh, having earned nearly ₹200 crore globally.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office: Kartik Aaryan’s Biggest Hit
The Diwali-released horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, and Rajpal Yadav, has surpassed the ₹250 crore mark at the box office in just eight days. This makes it Kartik Aaryan’s highest-grossing film in this short period. Despite competing with the big-budget, multi-starrer Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 provided strong competition, and its box office collections were outstanding. The film’s strong first-week performance and the absence of new Bollywood releases in the second week suggest continued strong earnings. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has been declared a super duper hit and is expected to become a blockbuster.
For its eight-day worldwide box office collection, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 achieved an India net collection of ₹156 crore 65 lakh within the first six days. The eighth day saw a slight drop in collections compared to the previous day, with an estimated India net collection of approximately ₹9 crore 35 lakh. This totals Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘s initial eight-day all-India net collection to ₹176 crore 57 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹210 crore 11 lakh, surpassing the ₹200 crore mark. The film also performed well overseas, with an overseas gross collection of ₹47 crore 2 lakh. In total, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘s eight-day worldwide box office collection reached ₹257 crore 32 lakh, having earned over ₹257 crore globally against its ₹150 crore budget.
