The film demonstrated strong box office performance on its second and third days. Despite being a Monday, the fourth day saw the film maintain a good hold on its collections.

Shrikant’s first day India net collection was 2 crore 41 lakh. It collected 4 crore 26 lakh on its second day and 5 crore 68 lakh on its third day. On its fourth day, despite a slight drop in ticket rates, the film recorded an India net collection of 2 crore 10 lakh. With these figures, Shrikant’s total All India net collection for the initial four days reached 14 crore 45 lakh. The India gross collection for the same period stands at 17 crore 19 lakh. Given its budget, the film appears set to be a clean hit at the box office.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes: Four-Day Global and India Collections

The Hollywood film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was released in India in Hindi and English languages, achieving a decent opening. The film’s collections saw good growth over the weekend, but there was a significant drop during weekdays. On its fourth day, the film’s occupancy was considerably lower, approximately 40% less compared to its first day.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes garnered an India net collection of 3 crore 35 lakh on its first day. The second day saw earnings of 4 crore 25 lakh, while its third-day India net collection, boosted by Sunday, reached 5 crore 43 lakh. As per reports, the film’s fourth-day India net collection is estimated at 2 crore 80 lakh. Consequently, its total All India net collection for the first four days is 14 crore 83 lakh, with an India gross collection of 17 crore 44 lakh. Globally, the film has achieved a worldwide box office collection of 129 million dollars, which converts to 880 crore in Indian currency. The film has reportedly earned over 1000 crore worldwide to date.

Maidaan, the Bollywood sports drama film, completed 33 days in cinemas since its Eid release on April 11. Despite being made on a budget of 150 crore and receiving good reviews, the film’s collections have been disappointing. Its first-week collection was quite low, though it managed a decent hold on the box office during its second, third, and fourth weeks.

The film’s box office run now appears to be nearing completion. Maidaan collected 53 crore 94 lakh within 32 days. On its 33rd day, the film is estimated to have earned 30-35 lakh. This brings Maidaan’s total All India net collection to 54 crore 29 lakh, and its India gross collection to 64 crore 66 lakh. The worldwide box office collection for Maidaan stands at 72 crore 81 lakh. Compared to its 150 crore budget, the film’s worldwide earnings are significantly lower.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: 33-Day Worldwide Box Office Earnings

The Bollywood action film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, released on April 11, has also completed 33 days in cinemas. Made on a budget of 300 crore, the film’s worldwide box office collection has not even reached half of its budget so far. With a reduced screen count and significantly lower collections, the film is expected to exit cinemas completely within a week or two.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan recorded 71 crore 82 lakh in its initial 32 days. On its 33rd day, the film added approximately 6 lakh to its collection. As a result, the total All India net collection for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan stands at 72 crore 8 lakh, with an India gross collection of 85 crore 68 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection is 135 crore 64 lakh, indicating it has not performed well.

The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT): Pre-Release Business Update

Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, is set to release on September 5 in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Even months before its release, the film has begun breaking records in its pre-release business.

The satellite rights for The Greatest of All Time have been sold for a record price of 90 crore to Zee Network, covering all five languages. This marks the beginning of the film’s pre-release business, with digital and other rights yet to be sold.

Pushpa 2: The Rule Pre-Release Business Sets Records

Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is one of the most anticipated films of 2024, expected to release on August 15. While the film’s teaser and first song received mixed to moderate responses, its pre-release business is breaking several Indian cinema records.

The Karnataka theatrical rights for Pushpa 2 have been sold for a record price of 60 crore. Previously, the film’s digital rights, satellite rights, music rights, Hindi theatrical rights, and overseas theatrical rights were also sold for substantial amounts. The breakdown of pre-release business includes:

Upon its release on August 15, Pushpa 2 is expected to have a first-day box office collection of over 100 crore. If the film is well-received by audiences, its lifetime collection could achieve significant numbers.
