Superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film, Sikandar, has demonstrated a remarkable performance in advance bookings. While other Bollywood films often struggle to accumulate significant collections after their release, Sikandar has surpassed many with its advance booking numbers alone. The film’s first day India advance booking stands at ₹19 crore 16 lakh, which includes blocked seats. For the second day, Sikandar has secured an advance booking collection of ₹11 crore 37 lakh, also including blocked seats. This brings the total India advance booking collection for Sikandar over its first two days to ₹30 crore 53 lakh.

Globally, the film has also performed strongly in advance bookings. Its overseas advance booking collection for the first two days is ₹18 crore 64 lakh. Consequently, Sikandar‘s total worldwide advance booking collection for its first two days reaches ₹49 crore 17 lakh. Notably, all advance bookings for Sikandar have been entirely organic, with audiences purchasing tickets, highlighting Salman Khan’s star power. The film is set to release soon, with first shows commencing in a few hours.

The Diplomat Box Office: 16-Day Collections Revealed

John Abraham’s action-thriller film, The Diplomat, released on March 14, has completed 16 days in cinemas and is currently in its third week. Directed by Shivam Nair and featuring Saadia Khatib, Kumud Mishra, and Sarika Hasmi alongside John Abraham, the film was made on a budget of ₹65 crore.

The Diplomat garnered an India net collection of ₹19 crore 45 lakh in its first week and ₹10 crore 68 lakh in its second week at the Indian box office. On its 15th day, a Friday, the film maintained a decent hold, collecting ₹1 crore lakh. On its 16th day, a Saturday, the film saw a slight growth in occupancy compared to the previous day, earning ₹1 crore 10 lakh. This brings The Diplomat‘s total India net collection over 16 days to ₹32 crore 4 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹38 crore 12 lakh. The film’s worldwide box office collection for 16 days stands at ₹43 crore 56 lakh. Considering its budget, The Diplomat has been deemed a flop at the box office.

Nithin’s Robin Hood: Two-Day Box Office Collection

The Telugu action-crime-thriller film Robin Hood, directed by Venky Kudumula and starring Nithin and Sreeleela, received a decent opening at the box office with respectable reviews. On its first day, Robin Hood recorded an India net collection of ₹3 crore 11 lakh.

While the film experienced a slight drop in occupancy on its second day, it maintained a strong presence at the box office due to it being a Saturday. As per preliminary reports, Robin Hood collected approximately ₹2 crore 50 lakh India net on its second day. This brings the film’s total India net collection for its first two days to ₹5 crore 61 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹6 crore 68 lakh. Furthermore, Robin Hood performed well overseas, accumulating an overseas gross collection of ₹3 crore 47 lakh to date. The film’s two-day worldwide box office collection has reached ₹10 crore 14 lakh.

Mohanlal’s Impuran Box Office: Three-Day Worldwide Collections

The Malayalam action-crime-thriller film Impuran, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and featuring Mohanlal, Tovino Thomas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, was made on a substantial budget of ₹150 crore. The film was released in five languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada—across thousands of screens worldwide. The film has shown a phenomenal performance in overseas markets, with an overseas gross collection of ₹71 crore 29 lakh. Consequently, Impuran‘s three-day worldwide box office collection has surged to ₹136 crore 81 lakh. Chhava Box Office: All-Time Mega Blockbuster Status After 44 Days

Chhava, a film based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, released on February 14 and has been running successfully in cinemas for nearly a month and a half, completing 44 days. The film has consistently earned crores daily from its first day up to its 44th day, showcasing impressive collections despite the release of other films.

In its initial 42 days, Chhava amassed a Hindi net collection of ₹587 crore and a Telugu net collection of ₹16 crore, bringing its total all-India net collection across both languages to ₹603 crore. On its 43rd day, a Friday, the film earned ₹1 crore 25 lakh. On its 44th day, a Saturday, Chhava recorded an improved occupancy compared to the previous day, collecting ₹1 crore 75 lakh India net. With these latest figures, the total all-India net collection for Chhava over 44 days stands at ₹606 crore. Its India gross collection has reached ₹719 crore, and the worldwide box office collection for Chhava after 44 days is ₹811 crore. Against a budget of only ₹130 crore, Chhava has achieved the status of an all-time mega blockbuster at the box office. However, with the upcoming release of Salman Khan’s Sikandar, Chhava‘s golden run is expected to conclude as its screen count will be significantly reduced.
