This brings Ratnam’s total India net collection for its initial two days to ₹3.71 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹3.80 crore. The overseas box office collection stands at ₹1.24 crore. Globally, Ratnam has accumulated a worldwide box office collection of ₹9.04 crore in its first two days, a collection described as entirely disappointing.
Ruslaan’s Initial Box Office Journey
The Bollywood action film Ruslaan, with a budget of ₹25 crore, was expected to achieve a worldwide opening of at least ₹2-2.5 crore. However, the film’s first-day collections were significantly lower than anticipated. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, one of Bollywood’s most expensive films with a budget of ₹300 crore, was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Despite initial high expectations for the Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer, the film received less favorable critical reviews.
