Jawan Box Office: A Record-Breaking Performance
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has captivated audiences across the nation, celebrating the film like a festival. The film opened with a bumper collection, enchanting critics and audiences alike. The film saw strong earnings during its initial four-day weekend, and collections on the fifth and sixth days remained impressive even after the weekend concluded. Jawan has surpassed the records set by Shah Rukh Khan’s previous film, Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan has delivered an all-time mega-blockbuster with Pathaan in January and, eight months later, a bigger blockbuster with Jawan. The record for Bollywood’s first films to achieve a 100 crore opening belongs exclusively to Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan. While Pathaan earned 1000 crore, Jawan’s lifetime collection is projected to reach 1500 crore. Shah Rukh Khan is set to become the only superstar in Bollywood to deliver two films earning over 1000 crore in a single year. The film’s budget was approximately 300 crore, and Jawan has already doubled its budget in terms of earnings within six days.
Jawan’s India Net Collection: Day-Wise Breakdown

On the fifth day, a Monday, the collections saw a slight drop, which is a common trend for Bollywood films. However, Jawan’s Monday earnings were higher than the opening collections of films by Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan this year. On its fifth day, Jawan collected in the range of 30 crore net from India across all three languages. For the sixth day, morning shows indicated a 10-12% drop compared to the fifth day, and advance bookings were slightly lower. Jawan’s Financial Success and Projections
With a budget of 300 crore, Jawan had already generated 250 crore by selling its digital, satellite, and music rights before its release.
