Chhaava Box Office Collection Day: Latest Updates on Vicky Kaushal's 'Sikandar' and 'The Diplomat Movie'

The Diplomat Box Office: Advance Booking Trends

John Abraham’s upcoming action-thriller film, The Diplomat, is set to release on March 14, with only two days remaining until its theatrical debut. While advance bookings for the film have commenced in India, they are currently limited and not yet open across all regions. Despite John Abraham being a major star, the initial response from these limited bookings suggests that the film may not achieve a significant opening at the box office. As of now, the total advance booking collection for The Diplomat, combining India and overseas figures for the weekend, stands at ₹7 lakh. It is hoped that the advance bookings will see a substantial jump in the remaining two days to secure a decent opening day collection.

Chhava Box Office: A Global Blockbuster Performance

The historical action-drama film Chhava, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Vicky Kaushal, Akshaye Khanna, and Rashmika Mandanna, has completed 27 days in cinemas, with its fourth week nearing an end. Made on a budget of ₹130 crore, the film has achieved record-breaking earnings worldwide, approaching the ₹7500 crore mark globally. Chhava is projected to continue its dominance at the box office until the release of Sikander.

The film was initially released in Hindi for its first three weeks and subsequently launched its Telugu version, which has now been in theaters for six days. Across both Hindi and Telugu languages, Chhava recorded an India net collection of ₹539 crore 24 lakh within its first 25 days. On its 26th day, the film added ₹5 crore 38 lakh from both languages. Its 27th-day collection experienced a drop of approximately 7 to 8 percent compared to the previous day, earning ₹5 crore 10 lakh. This brings Chhava‘s total India net collection for the first 27 days to ₹549 crore 72 lakh. The film is on track to cross the ₹550 crore India net collection milestone soon. The India gross collection for Chhava has reached ₹654 crore 15 lakh, with its worldwide gross collection standing at ₹743 crore 9 lakh. With earnings exceeding ₹743 crore worldwide against a budget of ₹130 crore, Chhava has cemented its status as an all-time blockbuster at the box office. The industry now awaits to see the film’s final box office collection and whether Sikander will be able to surpass its records.
