Jawan Box Office: A Record-Breaking Opening
The film Jawan has broken thousands of box office records upon its release, achieving record-breaking earnings on its very first day. Jawan also surpassed the first-day record of Shah Rukh Khan’s own film, Pathaan.
Jawan Movie Budget and Pre-Release Earnings
Jawan was made on a grand level, with its budget reported as 300 crore rupees. Before its theatrical release, Jawan recovered a significant portion of its budget. The satellite rights were sold for 24 crore, digital rights for 130 crore, and music rights for 36 crore, purchased by T-Series. Through the sale of digital, satellite, and music rights, Jawan, with its 300 crore budget, recovered 250 crore before its release.
Jawan Global Screen Count
Jawan was released across more than 4500 screens in India. In overseas markets, the film was released on over 3000 screens. This brings Jawan’s worldwide screen count to 7500 screens, making it the Bollywood film released on the highest number of screens this year.
Jawan First Day India Box Office Collections
On its first day, Jawan achieved a net collection of 5 crore from its Tamil version, with a gross collection of 5 crore 95 lakh. The Telugu version contributed a net collection of 4 crore on its first day in India, with a gross collection of 4 crore 75 lakh.
In the Hindi market, Jawan recorded a net collection of 65 crore on its first day, with a gross collection of 77 crore 50 lakh. This performance establishes Jawan as the biggest opener in the Hindi market.
Combining all three languages – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu – Jawan’s first-day all-India net collection stands at 74 crore. The total India gross collection for the first day is 86 crore 20 lakh rupees.
Jawan Worldwide Opening Day Collection
The film recorded a record-breaking performance in the overseas market on its first day. Early estimates indicate a gross collection of 52 crore from international territories. With these figures, Jawan’s first-day worldwide gross collection is approximately 140 crore rupees across Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. This marks a blockbuster opening for Jawan.
Jawan Box Office Lifetime Projections
It is confirmed that the film is expected to easily earn 700-800 crore in the worldwide box office market. If the film is widely appreciated by audiences, it could surpass the 1000 crore mark globally, similar to Pathaan.
