Red 2 is emerging as a surprise blockbuster of 2025, with expectations for it to become a blockbuster in the coming days.

The film’s collections were outstanding in the first week and are expected to continue strongly into the second week. Good reviews and audience appreciation are likely to maintain its screen count. Red 2 recorded an All India Net collection of ₹81 crore 30 lakh in its initial five days. On its sixth day, the film maintained a strong hold, collecting ₹6 crore 92 lakh net in India. On its seventh day, despite a slight drop of 5-6% in morning show occupancy compared to the previous day, the afternoon, evening, and night show bookings remained solid, resulting in an estimated ₹6 crore 25 lakh net collection in the Indian market.

While the film saw no significant promotion or impact in Hindi, its earnings in the Telugu states did not meet expectations. However, the film’s collections in Tamil Nadu and the Tamil language across India were impressive, complemented by a fully fantastic updated overseas collection.

Retro achieved an All India Net collection of ₹58 crore 43 lakh across all languages in its initial six days. On its seventh day, the film’s occupancy remained stable, with morning shows performing similarly to the previous day and afternoon, evening, and night show bookings also being good. The Bhutani 7-Day Worldwide Box Office

Sanjay Dutt’s horror comedy film The Bhutani was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and released on just 750 screens worldwide. Despite the limited screen count and shows, the film garnered audience appreciation and achieved decent earnings at the box office. The Bhutani collected ₹6 crore 61 lakh at the Indian box office in its initial five days. On its sixth day, the film earned ₹93 lakh in the Indian market. On the seventh day, a slight drop in occupancy compared to the previous day led to an estimated collection of ₹85 lakh in the Indian market.
