OMG 2 Box Office Collections Update
Akshay Kumar’s film OMG 2 has entered its fourth week in cinemas. The film, which features Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam alongside Akshay Kumar, now has a limited number of screens available. Despite this, OMG 2 made strong earnings in its initial three weeks and continues to collect in its fourth week. The film’s first week India net collection stood at ₹85 crore 5 lakh. In its second week, the India net collection was ₹41 crore 37 lakh. The third week saw an India net collection of ₹9 crore 50 lakh. On its 22nd day, which falls in the fourth week, OMG 2 collected approximately ₹1 crore 60 lakh in India net.
The cumulative all India net collection for OMG 2 now totals ₹147 crore 52 lakh, with an India gross collection of ₹175 crore. From overseas markets, the film has earned ₹41 crore. This brings OMG 2’s worldwide total gross collection to ₹216 crore, marking it as a super duper hit at the box office.
Gadar 2 Continues Strong Run
Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 has also entered its fourth week in cinemas, maintaining strong collection figures. The film, directed by Anil Sharma, had a powerful opening and saw record-breaking earnings in its first week. Collections remained impressive in the second week, and the third week showed robust performance. While Gadar 2’s screens have been reduced in its fourth week, the film continues to perform exceptionally.
Gadar 2’s first week India net collection, over seven days, was ₹284 crore 63 lakh. The second week’s all India net collection reached ₹134 crore 47 lakh. In its third week, Gadar 2 collected approximately ₹65 crore in all India net. On its 22nd day, despite reduced screens, the film is estimated to collect approximately ₹5 crore in India net, driven by solid bookings in morning, evening, and night shows.
The all India net collection for Gadar 2 currently stands at ₹489 crore. The film’s India gross collection has reached ₹582 crore. Furthermore, Gadar 2 has made a strong overseas collection of ₹65 crore. The worldwide gross collection for Gadar 2 is now ₹647 crore, with expectations to surpass the ₹650 crore mark worldwide soon.
Jawan Advance Booking Dominates
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, Jawan, has generated a massive response, with its advance bookings beginning. The film is poised to potentially break the records of both Pathaan and Gadar 2. Jawan is set for a worldwide release next week in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
Advance booking for Jawan in overseas markets commenced over a week ago. In India, advance bookings began today morning. Within just a few hours of opening, Jawan has secured an advance booking of ₹2 crore 75 lakh in India for its four-day weekend. In the overseas market, Jawan has already made an impressive ₹8 crore 30 lakh in advance booking collections. The film’s advance booking is rapidly selling out in major cities.
