Devara Box Office Collection Day 12: Jr NTR Starrer Crosses ₹250 Crore Mark in India

The Goat Box Office Performance & Worldwide Collections

Thalapathy Vijay’s film, The Goat, released on September 5, has completed over a month in cinemas and is now available on OTT platforms. The film has largely exited theaters, with only 100-150 shows currently running in Tamil Nadu. It has also been withdrawn from overseas markets and all languages across India. The action thriller, directed by Venkat Prabhu, featured Thalapathy Vijay in a triple role and was released worldwide in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Despite being released on only 1000 screens in the Hindi market with no promotion, The Goat achieved a total Hindi gross collection of ₹28 crore 93 lakh. From its South Indian language releases (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada), the film garnered an India gross collection of ₹277 crore 89 lakh. This brings the all-India gross collection for all five languages to ₹306 crore 82 lakh. The film also earned a final ₹161 crore 24 lakh from the overseas market. Cumulatively, The Goat’s total worldwide box office collection stands at ₹468 crore 6 lakh, securing a “Superhit” tag globally. Regionally, the film was an average performer or flop in Kerala and the Telugu states, but achieved “Super Duper Hit” status in Tamil Nadu, Hindi, and overseas markets.

Thangalaan Worldwide Advance Booking Collections

The upcoming film Thangalaan, starring Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, along with Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil, is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 10. Though primarily a Tamil movie, it is set to release in other languages, including Hindi. The film’s advance booking has been exceptional. Despite Amitabh Bachchan’s presence, Hindi bookings have not properly commenced, and the film has not received significant Hindi promotion or a wide screen release in the Hindi market.

As per the latest figures, Thangalaan’s India advance booking collection across all languages is ₹26 crore 75 lakh. Its overseas advance booking stands at ₹1 crore 28 lakh. This totals the film’s worldwide advance booking collection to ₹28 crore 3 lakh. It is important to note that this ₹28 crore 3 lakh booking is for the opening weekend, covering October 10 to October 13, a three-day period, and not just the first day. The film has received a strong response in advance bookings.

Devara Box Office Collection & Super Duper Hit Status

Junior NTR’s pan-India film, Devara, directed by Siva Koratala and co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, has completed 12 days in cinemas. Originally a Telugu movie, it was released worldwide on 6000 screens in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The film has shown robust earnings from both India and overseas markets, with solid collections from its Hindi version.

Devara recorded a Hindi net collection of ₹68 crore 47 lakh in its initial 10 days. On the 11th day, it earned ₹1 crore 90 lakh. For the 12th day, with a further drop in occupancy compared to the previous day, the film is projected to collect ₹1 crore 65 lakh in Hindi. This brings Devara’s total Hindi net collection to over ₹70 crore, with a total Hindi gross collection of ₹73 crore 80 lakh. From its South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada), the film has amassed an India gross collection of ₹375 crore. The overseas total collection for Devara currently stands at ₹95 crore. Considering all five languages, the film’s total worldwide box office collection after 12 days is ₹470 crore. Against a budget of ₹300 crore, Devara has achieved a “Super Duper Hit” status at the box office worldwide.

Singham Again First Day Box Office Prediction

Rohit Shetty’s directorial, Singham Again, featuring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, with cameo appearances by Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Deepika Padukone, is slated for a Diwali release. The film’s trailer has generated significant excitement.

If Singham Again enjoys a solo release during Diwali, its first-day collection in India is predicted to exceed ₹50 crore, with a worldwide opening of ₹70 to ₹80 crore. However, if it clashes with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is also scheduled for a Diwali release, Singham Again’s first-day collection in India might be around ₹35 crore, and its worldwide collection between ₹50 to ₹60 crore. A clash would mean both films would share screens, potentially impacting their overall earnings.
