Ayushmann Khurrana’s horror-comedy “Thaama,” directed by Aditya Sarpadar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, has a budget of ₹145 crore. The film, released in Hindi and Telugu, achieved one of the biggest openings of the year. Its collections have steadily increased, already crossing ₹100 crore worldwide. To be considered a box office hit, the film needs to earn between ₹200 and ₹300 crore in the worldwide market, a target it is expected to achieve easily.

The film’s India net collection on its first day was ₹25 crore 11 lakh. In its initial three days, “Thaama” accumulated ₹58 crore 79 lakh at the Indian box office. On its fourth day, the film collected over ₹11 crore from the Indian box office.
