Malayalam cinema’s superstar Dulquer Salmaan’s film, King of Kotha, was produced on a budget of approximately 50 crore rupees. The movie was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Despite zero promotion in the Hindi market and limited screen availability, the film achieved one of the biggest openings from its South Indian languages on its first day.
King of Kotha was released on 1500 screens worldwide across all languages. The original Malayalam version received an overwhelming response upon release, with good responses also noted in Telugu. Based on morning shows’ occupancy and evening/night bookings, King of Kotha garnered an estimated All India Net Collection of approximately 12 crore rupees from all languages on its first day. The India Gross Collection for the first day stood at 14 crore 50 lakh rupees. From the overseas market, the film collected in the range of 7 crore rupees on its first day. Consequently, the First Day Worldwide Collection for King of Kotha amounted to 21 crore 50 lakh rupees, marking a blockbuster earning globally on its opening day.

The cumulative All India Net Collection for Jailer reached 325 crore rupees, with an India Gross Collection of 387 crore rupees. The film earned 143 crore rupees from the overseas market. With these figures, Jailer’s Worldwide Total Box Office Collection stands at 580 crore rupees, making it an all-time blockbuster globally. The film is projected to cross the 600 crore rupees mark in worldwide collection within the next two to three days.

Prabhas’s upcoming film, Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, has begun its advance booking in the overseas market, specifically in the US. The advance booking for Salaar started two days ago in the US. In a short period since its commencement, the film has accumulated 2 lakh dollars from the US market in advance bookings. This figure translates to 1 crore 65 lakh rupees in Indian currency. These advance booking figures have been achieved approximately one month before the film’s release, and without the trailer being out or promotions having started.
OMG 2 Worldwide Box Office Earnings
