Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office Performance
The film Satyaprem Ki Katha, released 18 days ago, has concluded its third week in cinemas. The movie garnered positive reviews from the public and ran without significant competition for its initial two weeks, leading to strong box office earnings.
In its first week, Satyaprem Ki Katha collected an India net of ₹53 crore 21 lakh. The collections in the second week amounted to an India net of ₹19 crore 50 lakh. By its third weekend, the film’s India net collection was approximately ₹6 crore, showing a drop due to the release of Mission Impossible 7 and a reduction in screens.
The total India net collection for Satyaprem Ki Katha now stands at approximately ₹79 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹94 crore. Globally, the film has achieved a worldwide total box office collection of ₹118 crore. With a budget estimated between ₹60-65 crore, Satyaprem Ki Katha has been declared a clean hit at the box office.
Mission Impossible 7 India Box Office
Hollywood film Mission Impossible 7 has completed five days at the Indian box office, releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English languages. The film received positive reviews from Indian audiences and exceeded expectations in its five-day weekend collections.
On its opening day, Mission Impossible 7 recorded an India net collection of ₹12 crore 30 lakh. The second day saw a slight drop with an India net collection of ₹9 crore. However, the third day registered a slight growth, reaching an India net collection of ₹9 crore 30 lakh. The fourth day, a Saturday, witnessed a significant jump in collections, surpassing the first day’s figures with an India net collection of ₹13 crore 10 lakh.
Initial reports for the fifth day, a Sunday, indicate a strong performance, with Mission Impossible 7 expected to achieve an India net collection of ₹15 crore 50 lakh, benefiting from the holiday. This brings the film’s total India net collection to over ₹59 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹74 crore in just five days. Mission Impossible 7 has already been declared a super duper hit at the Indian box office within this period.
Adipurush Worldwide Box Office Collections
The film Adipurush has been in cinemas for over a month and has now largely been removed from most screens, with very limited shows remaining and minimal audience attendance. The complete report for its worldwide collections across all languages has been released.
Initially, when the film was announced, there were expectations of it potentially earning ₹2000 crore. However, the film faced challenges, including disappointment after its teaser release, despite subsequent improvements in VFX. Upon its release, Adipurush failed to meet the high expectations.
The film’s worldwide collections for the first three days reached ₹340 crore. However, from the fourth day onwards, the box office performance saw a significant decline, with no subsequent growth in collections. In its first week (seven days), Adipurush generated a worldwide collection of ₹424 crore across all five languages.
The second week’s worldwide collection drastically dropped to ₹52 crore, representing only 22% of the first week’s earnings. The third week saw a further decline, with worldwide collections reaching just ₹17 crore 50 lakh. The fourth week proved to be particularly disappointing, as the film collected only ₹3 crore 80 lakh worldwide across all languages.
The total worldwide collection for Adipurush, encompassing Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, stands at ₹498 crore 13 lakh. While nearing the ₹500 crore mark, Adipurush has been deemed a flop at the box office.
