The film 1920, which is reportedly the third or fourth part of its series, initially had low expectations for box office earnings. However, the rejection of the film Adipurush by the public greatly benefited 1920. The film started on limited screens on its first day. Following good reviews and strong collections, its screens were increased on the second and third days. The film is currently making splendid earnings at the box office.
1920, a Bollywood film, was also released in Tamil and Telugu, in addition to Hindi. The film’s budget is 20 crore rupees. On its first day, 1920 achieved an India net collection of 2 crore 30 lakh rupees, which was a splendid opening considering its budget. On the second day, the film’s collections saw tremendous growth, with an all-India collection of approximately 3 crore 50 lakh rupees. For its third day, 1920 is making an all-India collection of approximately 5 crore rupees.
The initial three-day India net collection for 1920 stands at 10 crore 84 lakh rupees. Its India gross collection is approximately 13 crore rupees. Despite being released on quite limited screens in the overseas market, the film earned 1 crore 40 lakh rupees internationally. This brings 1920’s total worldwide collection for its first three days to 14 crore 50 lakh rupees. With earnings of 14.5 crore in three days against a budget of just 20 crore, it appears the film will recover its budget in the first week and become a hit or super hit at the box office.
Adipurush Worldwide Box Office Collection Update
Superstar Prabhas’s film Adipurush has ultimately collapsed at the box office. Hopes were that this film would break all box office records, but it did not; instead, the film itself broke down. While the film made decent earnings in its first week, there were expectations for a good collection during the second weekend, which did not materialize as hoped.

On its ninth day (second Saturday), the film collected only 13 crore 10 lakh rupees from the worldwide market. On its tenth day (second Sunday), a growth in collection was observed, though not as significant as expected. The reports indicate that Adipurush is earning approximately 14 crore 50 lakh rupees from the worldwide market on its tenth day. With this, Adipurush’s worldwide collection within its initial ten days totals 463 crore 10 lakh rupees. This collection is considerably lower than expected. Collections are expected to drop significantly from Monday. It remains to be seen if the film reaches 500 crore at the box office.
Gadar 2 Box Office Anticipation
Gadar 2, featuring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, is set to release on August 11. The first part, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, had previously released in cinemas and made good earnings. The teaser for Gadar 2 was also released and has been met with a splendid public response, becoming an old blockbuster. The filmmakers for Gadar 2 may release another teaser next week. They believe the teaser will be released approximately one and a half months before the film’s release. Major Tamil websites report that the Leo teaser might be released on August 15. The teaser is also rumored to feature Thalapathy Vijay and Sanjay Dutt together. There are significant expectations that Leo could become the biggest blockbuster film of Thalapathy Vijay’s career. When Leo releases on October 19, it is expected to be a super blockbuster in its Tamil version, but it remains to be seen if the film will earn well in its Hindi version.
