Salman Khan’s film Tiger 3 has continued to achieve significant collections at the box office. The film, released on the occasion of Diwali, had a total budget of ₹300 crore and was released worldwide across 9000 screens in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Tiger 3 took the biggest opening of Salman Khan’s career on its first day. Collections remained strong for the first week but started dropping day by day from the second week onwards. After approximately three weeks in cinemas, the film’s collection has significantly declined.

Tiger 3 recorded an all-India net collection of ₹278 crore 19 lakh within its first 17 days across all languages. The film’s 18th-day collection from India was ₹3 crore 5 lakh. On its 19th day, the India net collection was less than ₹2 crore, with earnings of only ₹1 crore 80 lakh. Animal Movie Box Office Performance
Superstar Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal has set a new record at the box office, proving to be the biggest film of Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film was released in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, performing exceptionally well not just in Hindi but also in South Indian languages.
Animal’s Record-Breaking Advance Bookings
The advance booking collections for Animal were remarkable even before its release. The first-day Hindi advance booking for Animal was ₹29 crore 50 lakh, while South Indian languages contributed ₹8 crore 50 lakh in bookings. This resulted in Animal’s first-day all-India booking across all languages totaling ₹8 crore. The film’s first-day versus advance booking collection, including premieres, was approximately ₹21 crore. Overall, Animal had already earned ₹59 crore from advance bookings alone.
Animal First Day Worldwide Collection
Considering its strong advance bookings, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal earned over ₹100 crore worldwide on its first day. Animal is the third Bollywood film of 2023 to collect ₹100 crore worldwide on its opening day. Previously, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan also earned ₹100 crore on their first day. This makes Ranbir Kapoor the second Bollywood superstar, after Shah Rukh Khan, whose films have opened with ₹100 crore on their first day.
Opening Day Comparison: Animal vs. Tiger 3
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal received a significantly larger box office opening compared to Salman Khan’s Tiger 3. Tiger 3’s first-day collection was ₹94 crore.
