Superstar Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s action-packed film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was released on Eid and has crossed the ₹100 crore mark globally within five days in cinemas. The film, a Bollywood production, was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. However, the maximum collections came from its Hindi version, with no support from South Indian languages. The film’s overseas collections have been very good from the first day to the fifth day. Critiques’ negative reviews caused a dent in the film’s collections.

Ajay Devgn’s sports drama film Maidaan also made reasonable earnings worldwide in five days. The film officially released on April 11, Eid, following paid preview shows on April 10. Collections remained low during the weekend, and they did not increase substantially on weekdays. The film has a budget of ₹150 crore.

The initial five-day all-India net collection for Maidaan totals ₹26.15 crore, with an India gross collection of ₹31.11 crore. The film was released in 1600 screens in the overseas market, where it has earned ₹7.42 crore so far. Maidaan’s five-day worldwide box office collection stands at ₹38.53 crore.
